I didn't recieve the initial e-mail, but it is early enough in the game that I'm hoping to get my info added to the PM's list for future emails. [PMs if you are reading this - Hint Hint]

It's been a long while since I have participated in a game from beginning to end. I'm hoping to get in on a couple games as a player.

following as well - especially as this might have a UK slant to it, with the City of London motto 'n all, as well as possible literary theme.

if any passing PMs should happen to be looking for interested parties for future emailing involvement.... Wink

Aye, which is interesting because it seems that the email was sent to many people, very much not centric to the UK. So whatever it is, looks like it incorporates London but is for everyone... hopefully at least Confused

Well looks like we have an ID to go with the email (LD)

Well, at least this email has no weird gibberish. It's just flat out confusing. Are you attempting to get people to read poetry? I can suggest a few other poems to you, if you'd like.

Or perhaps you're one of those annoying people that has been enjoying a good laugh out of attempting to drive me mad every morning?

Either way, I already happen to be familiar with this poem. Perhaps we can start a poetry club. You can invite your friends. You can even give them this email. I think this is generous of me.

But since you're asking me of all people, for instructions, perhaps you could just stop leaving strange things for me in the morning? It's getting quite annoying, especially since most of the times, the phrases aren't in English and the symbols are just odd. I'm tired of crowding the rubbish with my paper. I do need it, after all. And perhaps you can stop moving things? It might seem subtle to you, but it really is annoying.

So, the PM doesn't like getting puzzles in response (LOL)
Looks like LD has been recieving stuff at His/Her house. I'm going to follow up on that and see if I can get photos of the stuff sent to me!

I got it too, late last night. Cracked it, and went to bed.

Battlecat, reporting for duty. Last thing I was really involved with was The Human Pet....so curious to see what this becomes.

Roar.

That came with the original email as well (at least mine did)

Almost seems like they L D doesn't know that the original email went out on the account. Did you say that you received a message from this email account? Coulda been hacked *shock*

Which to me sounds just like that... someone is effectively harassing "L D" for some reason, and it looks like the email was 'hacked', sending out the original rot6 message. My guess at least.

Response to LD

So since LD has complained about stuff moving and cryptic messages being left along with his paper, I sent the following to LD, hoping to get some pictures or diagrams or descriptions

Quote:
Hi!
Thanks for writing back! By the way, my name is Steff, what's yours?

I'd like to hear you suggestions for poetry sure. I like to read in general, any ideas for good stuff is appreciated.

I don't want to drive anyone mad, especially not in the morning before breakfast and caffinated beverages.
I do have a few friends who might be interested in joining our little group so I will be sharing your email with them, so you might be recieving a few more emails.

As for leaving things anywhere, your email address suggests that you are in the UK, I live in the USA, so I would have difficulty leaving things for you. What sort of things are you recieving? If you could email me some photos or a description of the stuff you have recieved, I'll see if I or my friends can figure out what it is all about and see if we can help catch the people who are doing this to you.

What things are being moved? Again, any photos or descriptions or drawings of what has been moved and where it has been moved from/to would help.

Thanks for responding!

Steff

Hey there, sorry if I'm bothering you but I was just wondering if you're a music fan?

Yes?

Great!

Well I'm sure you might be interested in checking out my music review site http://ptsmusic.blogspot.com/

At this time I've only got two entries kindly donated by a friend of mine, but if I get enough positive feedback I'm hoping this will grow and grow! And hopefully at some point soon I'll be able to add a few of my own tracks and tips on home music production.

Hope to see you there!

Spectrogram time!

I'm at work, so don't have much flexibility... downloaded the video, stripped the audio, and tried to look at it, but yeah so much noise, and the drums rhythm pretty much fills the usable region of the spectrogram - but there are a few frequency lines that look like it could be morse or binary perhaps - or just artifacts of the instrumentation.
The quiet spot seems to be right in the middle, making me think there may be a mirror overlay required or some such perhaps?
Don't have all the tools to work on this effectively while at work... so that's my input for now Confused

In one of this guy's first posts, he mentions he's borrowing some of his reviews from another blog called Black Iris, which is over here. [meta]I'm a little concerned about whether this should actually be considered IG, though, or if the PM is just giving credit where credit is due. Note that while PTS's posts were all made in the last two days, Black Iris extends all the way back to January. Then again, all of Black Iris' posts seems to have been made in January, with the exception of the most recent, which was also made yesterday. Idk. Maybe I'm just babbling because I just woke up and my brain hasn't fully booted up yet, but something to keep in mind, I suppose.[/meta]

I just got this email which I thought was spam at first and even posted in the spam thread. Then since I havent been around for a while I decided to read this thread when I got to the latest entry I realized that I have been emailed on this also, got the Music Fan Email. They are really going back in the archives to include me. I haven't done anything since I ran Experiment in Law Enforcement That was back in 08... Anyway I will lurk at least may help out if I can from time to time.

I got the soundman email too, but promptly disregarded it. That's what I get for being out of the game for a while.

So is there any connection between us all, other than we're older members? What has every been involved with?

I did the whole Why So Serious, the Human pet, and Kuori Cho.
