If you haven't already done it, I'll try CysgodSPLATgmail.com as an address just to be sure.

Sounds like Shadow's email address still needs some cracking.

So I thought I might try a little trick and just ask Nigel what email address Shadow's emails are coming from. They may be coming from D's email...but I thought it was worth a try Very Happy

Yeah, PM decided to throw us a bone with that one. Email away!

[EDIT] I just read back and saw the clue "The Lord said it." That's so awesome. Good one PM! Hard to guess ourselves...but well played!

I find it infinitely amusing that just ASKING for the email address worked...guess when you need a push...BAM! Laughing

BEST.

FRIEND.

FOREVER.

I think it was very clever that he used me in such a way, since I pretty much never have any clue what I'm doing, and never would have caught a clue referencing myself. XD

For people who were wondering about those sound files sent by the amessage email a few pages back. The Sound Guy blog just had an update concerning it.

They are not part of this ARG but thought some people might be interested.

Got an email from Shadow! And oh how it opens up more questions.

Quote:
Great name, isn't it? I think I'll always be a bit grateful to those with such ingenuity. Although now I'm preening a bit. Onto your questions, oh ye that is much mistaken.

I would never injure a cat, let alone kill one! I go after those that deserve it. I have told you what I seek.

And yes, I emailed quite a few people. Makes me wonder how many your precious 'D' has left alive to respond.

"Left alive? Whatever do you mean?"

Ask her yourself. And ask her where her precious trip has taken her, while you're at it.

It's the internet, sunshine. Everybody lies.

Wow. pretty cool. That made me smile. I have very, VERY limited puzzle solving abilities and usually don't find them interesting but am really enjoying watching others solve them in this game. And great idea to JUST ASK, faeryqueen!

Between the literary references, multiple languages, intriguing riddles, and player ideas being incorporated into the game itself this one is becoming very fun to follow!

Congrats, LordIllidan, on getting an in-game tip of the hat. -That is too neat!

More from Mr McShadowface

Quote:
Because, my dear suspicious one, you are all targets.

And actually, I think that's got a cool sound to it. Vigilante. Shame that "the Shadow" is already taken. I think I'll say it anyway though: The Shadow Knows.

Good ring to it, don't you think?

"The Shadow Knows" seems like a big clue to something but I don't know what. Looked up websites and twitter and found nothing.

I asked D if she's ever killed anyone. She says no and is all incensed I even asked.

Me and Shadowface are going through some hardcore anon nerd bonding right now. As such, he sent this to me after I told him we're bros now...

Quote:
Might have to send that poor man a consoling email. Might get cursed out for it, but hell, it's the thought that counts. Cats are nice.

Speaking of though, that guy, Nigel? Wasn't a coincidence that they met. She rigged the entire thing. Had her eye on him. No idea why. I just figured out who the next person was that night I got onto her computer.

She's smart though. I don't know if I was meant to find that stuff or not. Damn second guesses. Figured to hell with it. Get him on a site with fast communication and hope like hell enough folks give a damn about geeks to talk to him.

Her thing, her calling card, is screwing with minds. Tried doing it to her, but she's a freaking ice queen. I don't think anything of mine threw her.

So your mission, should you choose to accept it? Keep our resident nerdcore chap alive. Nigel Hemingway. Keep him alive until I can figure out where she went. It's got to be near him. Near enough to mess with, far enough that he won't find her.

And screw it all, I don't know where he lives. She does though. Don't that beat all?

He wants us to find Nigel on the "site with fast communication" that apparently isn't twitter. He said it in my email too.

I've tried AIM but I can't tell if some of the potential user names are wrong, or just offline. Didn't find him on Facebook either. And I don't know of any other "fast communication" sites. I feel like he's throwing it right in my face and I'm missing it like a dumbass.
