I've been a lurker for a long time but I wanted to put in my .02c with this:

I found it interesting that there was two sides with only 1 icon so I'm guessing that's where the "key" connection is.

Given that, this is the number sequence I came up with, not sure if it helps any:

12:
09:01:08:03:07
02:
04:06:11:05:10

04 and 09 is where 1-icon key is

This looks like a way Flynn found to compress large amounts of data through a tridimensional object, so the numbering of the dice, the shape itself and the binary (or some other system) code it may refer to should be the answer.

How about starting around the 4/9 match between the two halves (the only blank spot)? That gives us a likely nine-letter code.

I have been able to build something in the image, but it does nothing from there. Is it supposed to match a 12-sided die?

the upper left image has at least one repeating image, papercrafting now to see what I get, on panel 08 and panel 01

dangit, I hate when I click submit, and it doesn't submit, because of new replies, I tried to send this 10 minutes ago.

It could be related to the yes "Bit" we got back in the spring.

Not all letters have their specific page, "l" for instance does not. If it's some message-configuration puzzle it is not Flynn.

Someone on SomethingAwful just figured this out:
If you drag one of the panels into the middle of two possible spots, it will put itself in there, and then allow you to use that same piece again, or, in other spots, it will put itself in both spots.

Has anyone layed the two images on top of each other with transparency using the single symbol as the line up key?

Guys, all I know is that it looks like binary code is in the center of each black and white shape.

I've stuck the papercraft bit together based on the dots, aligning the blank sides together first.
I'll upload the pics in a second Smile

I did. Check back a few pages...doesn't seem to been anything too conclusive.

I experienced this too. Seemed like a glitch to me.

sounds like everyone agrees on the current die configuration? has anyone looked at the dotted symbols on the edges and how they correspond w/ the adjacent faces? maybe overlapping adjacent symbols forms something?

That's it! We can solve the conflicting letter-configuration problem.
