In 3D form I can't find any visibly meaningful configuration (which side to match with which). If there's a code hidden when you put the halves together, I don't see it. Still trying hah.

Symbols remind me a lot of the coaster codes at the End of Line club...

I hate when these come out while I'm at work!
If we work toward an 18 character message, would it be likely that either the percentage of white or black in each glyph could be used to build an alphabet? i.e.: The one with the least white is likely an "A" and the one with the most white is maybe a W? Doubled character might then be an "E"? If it is, we can maybe estimate whether the percentage theory pans out and maybe even find the font used (provided one WAS used).

This is so frustrating and I'm about to have to go to work for 12 hours.. I do not want to miss this. I tried lining up the images with transparent layers in photoshop and I tried printing out the dice. Nothing.

I was looking at the flynnlives postings and a few things stand out. On the book exert, it keeps mentioning side channel attack, and later, the word Pentagon stands out. Something to do with the sides of the pentagons? And the date on the book tour flyer is Dec 8, that would be one week from today..

And we have 12 pentagrams, so some of them repeat.

All right. I found out that when I turned one of the sides upside down, there were a lot of symbols placed in the same place, so I inverted the color and removed the white, and I wound up with this. Not sure if it tells us anything, but I'll try to do it without invertion in a minute.

Is it possible that we just need to put the 2 halves of the die together and then read around it to get the solution to this? I don't have access to a printer or I'd be doing it right now. I also haven't figured out what the symbols on the die are representing.

I can tell you from experience that this is not a standard d12 numbering scheme. On a standard d12 the 1 & 12 are on opposite sides, not 2 & 12 as we have here.

Can anyone overlap the symbols in 3D. I was thinking if you could have a clear die with the symbols printed in black, if you looked down on top of the die the symbols would overlap at an angle. The symbols on the top 5 panels sloping up and the bottom ones sloping down. It would stretch the images.

I have no way to do this.
