For some reason that Norelco site won't let me register (can't type in the boxes, weird), but I noticed this so... it seems there are 16 cities in the pulldown menu. Since it seems so likely that the result from the End Game will be an advance screening... well, seems like a fair bet it'd be the same cities? Of course, this doesn't include Canadian or international cities, so maybe not.

Pulldown says:
Atlanta
Bentonville
Boston
Chicago
Dallas
Detroit
Ft Lauderdale/Miami
Houston
Los Angeles
Minneapolis
New York
Philadelphia
Phoenix/Tempe
San Francisco
Seattle
DC

Back under my rock. Just thought it was interesting.

I hope you are wrong - Only cuz Orlando isn't on there.

As someone who works in the industry ( theater repair tech ) I know that on IMAX digital and standard digital they can send a print via satellite to a theater in about two hours, or overnight on a 750 gb cru drive via fedex or ups and seeing as those screenings are sponsored and promoted by another company so I would say that those screenings are seprate.

Just my guess

Gawd, if they still leave Orlando out of this, that's ridiculous. You'd think all the themepark cities would get a drop.

As someone who is doing this "on the ground" stuff for the first time- what should I be ready to have on me? Laptop, phone, maps, walkie talkies? I got those, but no dataplan on the cell.

Should I park my car somewhere and bring a bike?

I don't want to get into Philly and be totally unprepared. Thanks!

I think you'd get along fine if you have someone on the other end of a phone who's sat at a computer! Smile

Make sure they know what they are doing though, don't have someone who is computer illiterate on the other end... Laughing

Any Verizon users know if I can get an adapter that turns my cell phone into a wireless modem that I can hook into my laptop and access the net like using the phone's basic web feature? Or do I have to subscribe to a broadband wifi plan?

It depends on the phone. Some smart phones have the ability to act as WiFi hot spots. I can w/ my iPhone, and I know that Android phones can too.

Side note: Is it possible to have a mod, or at least each individual thread creator change the Post title of their respective city so something uniform like:

"Final Destination - City Name"

I guess I'm anal (eww), and the board just looks a little cluttered or whatnot.

Just a thought.

Or just move all of those threads to a subforum in FL.

That would be ideal, yea.
