Wish I had the phone from Lakeland and I really hope they actually do Orlando this time. I'm ready to drive anywhere though including S. Florida if necessary.

Awesome, you will have a great time, win or lose. I was disappointed I missed out on the Zero Hour drop (seriously ATL guy, where are you, you never even came forward to share your info...at least that I remember) but I still had a blast taking part in the scavenger hunt. Afterwards I just milled around ATL for a bit and hit up some museums for good measure.

So then...do you want to compete, or work together?!?! Twisted Evil

I could use an experienced teammate lol

Okay, so the way that this is looking, I realize that I had better post. Since I may be the only one running around NYC, and I have a 3G IPhone with crappy internet, etc, I'm going to need a lifeline. Is there anyone who would be willing for me to call them while I'm on the run to keep me updated/can call me to keep me updated? My internet will be quasi questionable and slow at best. I'd rather have someone sitting on a computer, access to the boards, or to twitter, or whatever websites or whatever who can keep me up to date. Any volunteers?

I'm not the fastest guy, but I can make a fair turn of speed, and I know this city pretty damn well. What I may not be able to do is keep up with the information I'll need. I would really appreciate this.

As always, I will try to grab extra swag for people who cannot participate, but priority will be given to whoever helps me, since they will be actively participating in the process and it's only fair. Even if there ends up being no computer puzzles to solve or anything, they still get priority.

If interested, feel free to post here, but please PM me as well so we can work out logistics. I have AT&T, which I think means that I get unlimited in-network calls, but even if not, I always have plenty of minutes left. I'm more concerned with my lifeline having to spend money from having to phone me. I'd rather someone who is willing/able to call me as soon as something turns up without having to worry about their phone bill.

I haven't seen a post yet for Austin, so let me throw my name in as the first for that day.

ME - generally a lurker here, but I thought I would pop in and make my voice heard.

For the 2 LA phone holders, where were the locations for those drops?

I'm trying to find all the Borders/ Daltons / major bookstores around the area so we can stake things out a little more. I don't know if I am thinking in the right direction, but I suppose it's a start.

BitGamer here. Depending on what my schedule looks like, I might be able to join the Boston team.

I'll probably be able to, based on my schedule, help out with Boston.

im thinking the bookstore would be based on a bookstore that was present when flynn was around aka circa 1988 book tour, which someone stated on the other feed.

look for a community bookstore maaaybe library, but maybe a off-titled bookstore. something not chain-like or big brand like borders B&N or waldens.

Looks like we have LA well covered which is good, Tyr333 and Mach1monorail and Shad0, I say the four of us are are the valley/no ho/ hollywood team since most of us seem to be located thereabouts. I'd say a separate team for downtown/west la/culver city as on a week day getting anywhere on the 405 before 10 am is a no go. Sound copacetic?

Count me in as well in the Burbank area. I think its going to be a phone number that has to be called from an Operative phone so I want to stick close to Tyr333 with mach1monorail. We need someone behind a computer though to give us updates (FlynnLives, OperationTron/Twitter, FlynnFrontier, Facebook, Digitalpulse, Unfiction Boards and IRC), we should give our cells to the landline people so they can update us on the ground. This is going to be craaaaazy!

Well considering my phone already has the twitter feeds set up for everything that should be related, and I can get access to here and anything else, I should be good to go. Just trying to figure out what a good point would be to sit & wait.

Well s'long's Toronto is on that list, I will be at ground zero, and I'm going to do a live ustream broadcast, depending on the content of the event... I'm guessing with enough time for people to pre-plan if a location is also announced, there'll be a lot of people who show up - much more than the Zero Hour event which was one-gets-to-the-announced-location-first-then-runs-away Razz

Hoping this is more like the WSS joker live event with crowds of people following instructions Smile

I really am to the point of tears on this one.

Not really, but I am pretty heartbroken.

I went into the office today to see if I can reschedule and it seems as those I was asking for a cure for aids or something.

Not going to happen.

But my review is from 1:00pm-2:00pm central time. So with ANY luck it will be after that. I hope.

42E I don't expect you guys to move the time for me, but I really hope you give us enough notice on the time and location.

At least the location because if something is not in Dallas, then I will at least know I don't have to drive to Austin or something.

Once again if someone can grab whatever they can for me I will make it worth your while. I just hope this is not another wallet and bit incident again where only one person gets it.

If it is a pre-screening, then I don't mind missing out on that since I will be going on the 15th.
