woot, got my soundtrack and poster yesterday while in TO. I went with the pickup option, since the location was downtown a couple blocks from the IMAX. My poster was in pristine condition in a cardboard poster tube, no stickers or mailing tags of any kind (beautiful).

Opened it back at home with t3h0p3rat0r, and it iz naice! Glow parts lit up hot after one swipe with the UV light Smile

So, thought I'd congeal what I've seen so far.

Tronsoundtrack.com
22 tracks, same track order as Amazon version

Amazon
23 tracks total, first 22 are same as tronsountrack.com stuff, and 23rd is Sea of Simulation. The digital booklet they have is the same stuff that's in the digipak version shipped from tronsoundtrack.com

UK special edition
First disc is the same as the tronsoundtrack.com version, but the second disc has 5 extra tracks on it (1. Encom Part I, 2. Encom Part II, 3. Round One, 4. Castor, 5. Reflections

iTunes
25 tracks, totally wacky order. Also, 3 extra tracks over what is on the tronsoundtrack version, Father and Son, Outlands Pt II, and some weird non-Daft Punk track.

That seems to cover all the variations so far. Now if only Daft Punk would release a single of Derezzed with all kinds of remixes. Smile

Does anyone know where the "extra tracks" fit in to the overall order of the soundtrack? The extra tracks that are out there aren't numbered where they fall in regards to the others.

I'd really like to have all 30 tracks as close to movie order as possible. Does anyone know or do we have to wait for the movie to come out and make our best guess?

I seem to have no luck. Picked mine up Monday, and I got a damaged poster, even with the poster in a tube inside a box.

I'm getting ready for the Digital Pulse/Side Channel Attack, so I'll post pics later when I get home.

My poster was damaged, too. Tube was fine. No word from their CS after 3 days. Do they have a telephone #?

Not that I'm aware of. What looks like happened with mine was that the poster slid around in the tube. The tube is much bigger than the poster, and there was no baggie or band around mine when it was inside. So the edges got kinda mangled as the box moved around.

I think what also didn't help was that the poster was printer on thinner paper than other posters, so it was more fragile.

Okay, I got an answer out of them, but I had to force their hand. I sent an email to infoSPLATtopspinmedia.com and I got a response within minutes. To be fair, I DID contact their customer service first and got the automatic reply email with a case #, but never heard back after that, which is why I went this route.

Anyway, they have since reached out to me and will ship me a new poster. I indicated that they need to make sure the poster is protected in the tube...hopefully that makes a difference...if they can do that.

They said this in my reply about the protecting the poster in shipment:
"Universal Music Group handles the shipping for these orders. We had a meeting with them yesterday and they're aware of the problem. I'll be in touch soon when I get confirmation that your poster is being reshipped."

Who did you contact and how? Email thru their site?

I received a PM on this site from someone trying to offer me all 30 tracks for DL. Went to the site and my anti-virus software told me it blocked an attack from that site. The nerve of some people.

Depending on your virus software, just about any site that offers downloads via torrents or megauploads, etc, will come up as unsafe.

UK Sountrack

Woo, showed up today. Ripping extra tracks now. The CDs aren't as cool as the US version (no black discs, aw...), but it's got a nifty 2 disc case. Booklet is slightly altered...matte pages and the info on the second disc. There are videos on it. Checking out and will find way to disseminate.

Material on Special Edition bonus CD

Ok, the bonus disc comes with 3 vids, all are compressed flash video down to 368x272, horrible video & audio artifacting:

- Trailers.flv
The first two Tron Legacy trailers strung together in one file
- vehicles_behind_scenes.flv
The video of the discussion of the vehicles of Tron. Definitely made its way around, I'm pretty sure it's up on YouTube
- world_of_tron.flv
All of the Garrett Hedund Tron explanation videos. Light Cycles, Discs, CLU, Quorra, etc.

Basically, all of this stuff is already online, and at much better resolution.

Now, to the tracks:
- Encom Part I
- Encom Part II
- Round One
- Reflections
These are more orchestral score tracks with only minimal Daft Punk-sounding elements.
- Castor
Another Daft Punk track, almost all synth, very upbeat. Probably the most dancey track other than Derezzed, but a bit more minimal in its composition.

Not sure if it's worth all the extra money to ship it over. If you're a completeist or huge Tron fan (and aren't most of us, if we're here), sure. However, I can't find anything on the disc saying it's a UK/EU thing, so I suspect it will be released here. Might want to wait and see.
