Either they've not given much priority to this ARG, or it's mismanaged, or whatever they're trying to tell us is so misunderstood by we of the puppet mind that the wise and allknowing

PM has not deigned to help we of the lowly and clue-hungry class.
I don't know, is this possibly 8-baiting!

Yeah I emailed him on the 3rd at 8:08PM Pacific Time.
"Hey Josh, your website is down. Better get it put back together soon, people need that Calendar update. "

I wouldn't be surprised if this is GoDaddy's fault. They have, in the past, moved my websites to different servers just because they felt like it. If the DNS is not hosted by them or hasn't changed, that could very well be the cause.
And it's been rather typical that there is zero involvement form the Bad Robot PMs during the weekend. I'd be willing to bet that they're simply not aware of the problem and aren't monitoring it.
Should be a surprise when they show up to work tomorrow morning...

I can't recall, but didn't we get some update/clue recently on a weekend?
It just seems like that happened because there was surprise among the posters that that had happened?

Is GoDaddy's 'Website Coming Soon' page always this outdated? All the screenshots are using Windows 98. And Netscape??
It just seems out of place, and more in fitting with the semi-retro, Geocity stylings of Hooklineandminker.com.
But if people have seen this page before then it's most likely a mistake. I know that Secureserver.net has been around since 2006, unlike all the other websites that were registered in May.

Marketing Company So I started thinking that maybe it is the advertising firm or marketing group's fault. I can only imagine that some company is running the game. Maybe someone from JJs group noticed that there was a lack of effort going on at their expense and shut it down completely.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a new campaign start up with the next trailer.. Hopefully with Tron.

Now that would be nice. More effort.

I dashed into the theater that was playing "Morning Glory," a Bad Robot production to see the trailers for a new S8 and nada.

I doubt you'll see a Super 8 trailer in front of Tron: Legacy for a variety of reasons.

I didn't watch "Morning Glory;" I just had about 15 minutes till the movie I was going to see began, and knew MG was a BadRobot production so I played musical theaters, hopping into the theater where it was playing just to see if there were any new previews to S8, but I didn't watch the movie.
There were NO patrons in there when the movie began, though.
The previews that I had watched a day or so earlier of MG looked interesting, but from the brief bits I saw of Harrison (whom I've always enjoyed watching), it seemed like his performance style was very similar as when he was in "Extraordinary Measures," not one of my favorite HF films.
