OH SHIT OH WAIT---

what if "ivii" stands for 1, 5, 1, 1 in roman numerals?

4 digits, perhaps the code?

In Entry #26 there is a brief fish-eye shot of someone who is wearing a crude skull mask, almost cartoonish, with long blond hair. This is Skully, she/he is a vague character that is referenced in times of vague possibilities.

A nickname the fans came up with after seeing the smiley masked person in entry #26.

This is getting very Lost Highway.

And Last Year At Marienbad. I'll have to re-watch that. "I know I've seen you before, Jay...last year, here at Marienbad."

That's what I thought. Alright, theory time.

Jessica was trying to seduce him. I'm not saying this because she looked like she had the hots for him, but I think this is Slendy's way of getting rid of Jay. I think Jay was getting too close to finding Alex and so Slendy took away his memory and sent Jessica to get him out off the picture.

Another couple points:

- Jay says he's only seen himself, Jessica and the staff in the hotel. I think they're the only ones in it, period. I think he's not quite here, or he's in some makeshift holding facility for SMpuppets, or both.

- When Jessica first appears in this footage, she is moving in exactly the same place and position as her silent appearance in the last entry. The framing and direction is too coincidental for me. It's like she is looping actions and routines, like a machine. I suspect Jay has done some of the same.

Exactly!! Or he might just be trying to distract him from solving the mystery.

Also, anyone else notice at around 2:36 or so, Jay clears his throat? Not quite coughing, but I still think it might be important.

Skully 26 doesn't have long blonde hair. A good long while back, someone posted an analysis of the clip and a blown up gif of it. It's a person with short, brown hair, could easily be mistaken for a shadow on the mask. The "hair" is just the light background, which looks yellow under the lighting of the shot. The clip's got such severe fisheye distortion that the head almost can't be seen behind the mask.

I like that first theory. As for the second - she's actually walking in the exact opposite direction (in 27, she was leaving her room), and missing her room entirely (she passes Jay by) so we don't quite have proof of this, but the framing is quite telling.

Personally, I like how there are these little things in how the lighting is set in this and the previous entry which keeps visually referencing Slenderman without showing him. I'd rather they show him, but it's a cool artistic direction in any case.

Are you guys proposing that Slenderman, a big, terrifying creature who has probably killed people or at least driven them to insanity, decided to get rid of someone by.... having them seduced? That doesn't seem plausible to me at all.

I know, I know. It's crazy. But we don't have much to work with right now!

I was really hoping he'd find a bloody knife when he looked through the bag. That would have been a priceless reaction.

I was hoping he would pull out the Slendy-doll.

He needs to try the numbers 6275.

Why?

Look at an old phones keypad.

6275
MASK

Makes sense to me anyway.

This is really interesting, especially if it ends up repeating a third time. Rule of threes, you know -- if something happens three times in a piece of fiction, it's relevant. I guess keep an eye on her movement as time goes on!

I think you're right, but to be fair, even after the analysis the clip seemed pretty ambiguous! It was simply too brief and too simple an image to get any 100% certain read off of it.

This exactly.

Why, why, WHY does it have to go this way? We get a new female character who we know almost entirely nothing about, and there's a contingent of people who immediately jump on the "OMG she is SOOOO gonna seduce him!!" cliche? She is giving off straight up zero "fuck me" signals. I don't know how you could possibly be getting any vibe off of her. If anything, the interaction is uncomfortable, awkward. This is only happening because she is a female character who hasn't arrived pre-attached to someone, and it's a really juvenile analysis of a female character.

Think: if Jessica had been a male character, would you in a billion years have thought any of that interaction was trying to be seductive? Or have thought that "Slendy sent her to seduce him!" if she had been male? (Cause I mean really, what sense of human sexuality could an eldritch horror even have? XD)
