 		TIME FOR A WALL OF TEXT.

hellyeah I'm back <3

OKAY. On all these Jessica/Jay theories, they've been seeing each other, they've been through this that and the other together, I want to point something out.

In 27, Jay says he talked to the front desk and was told his room was only booked for the night. Since the hotel staff have no reason to lie, this means Jay hasn't been in this hotel room very long- he only checked in the night before "waking up" in 27. Unless Jessica so happened to have been at whatever hotel he was in PREVIOUS to checking in here, this is likely the first time they've ever lain eyes on one another.

I like the other theory that's been thrown around: Jay's full name has been on the news for some reason. A missing person report or some other report on some illegal shenanigans he's been caught up in during seven months without memory.

I know everyone is really excited to see a girl showing up (and jay's oh-so-awkward gosh-i'm-talking-to-a-pretty-girl-and-i-look-like-a-moron-with-a-camera-strapped-to-my-chest dialog was a great bonus) but I actually don't see her being related to all the Slendy madness. If anything, she'll be a normal who's getting caught up in this simply due to her proximity to Jay. I think at this point she's existed to show us that Jay has had his name show up somewhere significant enough for a random stranger to recognize.

Also, on the theories as to the banging coming from "her" room:

I need some backing up on this, but is Jessica in the room to the LEFT or the RIGHT of Jay's? If the layout of the hallway is like I think it is, there's Jessica's room, then Jay's, then a break, the hallway door/mirror/whatever where people saw the "slendy" bookshelf-with-potted-plant in 27, and the hallway goes on through that doorway/mirror. There is most likely another room that shares a wall with Jay's; probably in this hallway. Couldn't THIS be the origin of the noise?

That being said, I'm stoked about the new season. The slow buildup approach is good; I'll be so tense by the time scary stuff starts happening that I'll probably pee myself.

Okay, so I suppose people just dismissed or missed my Morse code speculation, which would turn out to be "ivii", ( .. ...- .. .. ) which in Roman numerals would be "1, 5, 1, 1". Perhaps I'm wrong, probably wrong, actually, seeing as how I can't see how these numbers are relevant to the series(or I might have interpreted it incorrectly), but to see you two theorize so much on the end noises helps solidify my hunch that there is something to be investigated there.

The noises are there for a reason.



The clicking I am talking about have nothing to do with the noises you used for your Morse code analysis. It is much quieter that the banging and scrapping sounds. You can barely hear them at normal audio. I heard them because I boosted the volume with audio manipulation software while trying to get a better idea of what the sound at 4:15-4:17 was.

With that being said, the noise at 4:15-4:17 was probably something being scrapped against the wall.

Man, I have been spending too much time listening to that 30 second exert of audio.

 		Thanks, Undertheark Smile I was unlucky enough that by the time I joined the forums for Season 1, the entries had all been posted and it was over >.> this time I actually get to speculate as things are happening.

Another thing on the Jessica subject; (people are probably sick of hearing about her by now), isn't is possible that if the sounds ARE coming from the wall she shares with Jay's room, she's not making them, but IS hearing them? That could be why she stopped Jay in the hallway... She's wondering what the hell kind of guy makes all that noise in the middle of the night and wears a camera strapped to his chest.

and the noises, of course, would be something caused by Slenderness.

I would join in this duscussion about the "tapping" but I haven't heard it :/

I think Jessica's making the noise, or something is done to her that makes the noise. In entry 27, you can see her walking out of the room directly next to J.
Also, I got hecka creeped out with the sounds thing right after meeting Jessica, so I hope they go with the scarier direction.

It should be noted that I did not mean for that to be interpreted as ascii. I already knew that an ascii representation was complete gibberish. Come to think of it, any interpretation in which it is interpreted as a byte will be gibberish.

The only binary interpretation that I can think of in which it is not complete gibberish is if we assume every 4 bytes is interpreted to a decimal value. Then you get 90780. If we assume that the last pause is used as a space between iterations then we get 9078 9078 9078.

The more I think about it, the more likely it seems that it was not intentional.

 		Sorry if this has been posted already, but you know the safe that Jay found under the hotel bed in Entry #28; and how someone (TTA/Masky?) posted some pictures onto his twitter at different times?

Just a huge guess but...maybe those times mean something? (Maybe it's the code for the safe?)

Or you can use the letters in the pictures and convert them into numbers?
Question (The letter's MVNKBE...I really doubt this guess though)

My suggestion was that he play dumb and tell the hotel staff that he forgot the combination and ask if they can reset it for him. God knows what he'd find in there. Probably another tape that'll give me nightmares.

I'm enjoying it too.

I hope Jess does help Jay this season. I think we would have eventually gotten bored if it was just Jay talking to himself constantly.

Correction to this, she says "sure", not "sorry".

I've also noticed, while wearing noise eliminating headphones, extra noise can be heard throughout the video.

From 2:48 to 2:51, as he leaves the room, a faint "eeeeeee" sound builds up. This strikes me as odd- I didn't hear this during 27 when he left.

During the night cam footage, along with the banging of whatever is going on, you can hear throughout the video a very slight tapping. It's quite fast, but it has a consistent pattern, something like

(taptaptap, taptaptap, taptaptap tap TAP tap)

What's above would only last about a second or two, judging by listening to it.

Also during the night cam, as with most of the bag examination, sounds are accompanied with the slightest distortion- this is most likely the chest camera's audio not being very good.

The thing he picks up at 2:46, it's square, or rectangular. I'm thinking a phone, iPod, possibly another camera.

During the safe testing, a faint knocking (not the camera shifting on him) can be heard. Possibly the other room.

As a note:

I located the company that made Jay's safe- this is the only white model they have in which the top rounded edge of the panel almost touches the top of the door.

Exactly.

But I'm not sure if I'm correct. I'm just trying to point out those noises could possibly lead to something more substantial than character relationships right now.

It does because it focuses on the end noises. I was using your theories and SpiralStatic's theories to help support my suggestion that those noises can lead to more important clues than Jessica right now.

 		To add to the theory that he's been in the news, remember one of the last things that happened was his apartment building burned down. Presumably someone has been trying to track him down for that reason alone, if not others.
