The odd thing is that the MH entries are actually IG. So its not too hard to believe that people in the IG Universe would recognise Jay/other characters from the youtube series. However, I don't think thats how Jess knows him [trout] as she recognises his name, not his face. [/trout]

Do you reckon we'll be seeing the entries fortnightly? I won't mind as long as that means they are tiptop quality.

A Marble Hornets fan is going to see his face, see the camera, and put two and two together.

She's not going to wait until the second time she sees him to initiate the conversation and be like "WTF a camera?"

Are you sure? She seemed really awkward.

She could have noticed the camera the first time around, but was too shy to ask about it.

Or she just didn't notice it the first time.

Or she might have thought nothing of it at first, then saw it a second time and decided to ask.

Though I think, between the two entries, there's a definite difference in her behavior toward Jay. The first time we see her, I feel like she looks a lot more purposeful or absorbed in her own little world - it looks like she takes (at most) a passing glance at Jay, then continues walking while looking straight ahead, like she has Things To Do and can't be bothered with a dude and his silly camera. In #28, she seems a lot more aware, relaxed and (of course) interested in Jay and the camera.

Of course I'm pretty bad at reading body language so I could be wrong, but that's how it seems to me.

Even if she didn't notice it the first time, she definitely noticed it the second time - heck, it's why she started talking to him - and it was his *surname* that caused her to think he was familiar. That's the thing people seem to ignore.

A Marble Hornets fan is gonna go "Huh. A camera. And his name's Jay.", not "Huh, a surname I have never heard before. IT'S JUST LIKE THE SHOW ON THE INTERNETS!"

Just had a thought which has probably been posted a dozen times already: if Jay hasn't been missing and has just been doing his thing but lost his memory, why did he stop updating for seven months? In game.

Maybe he was doing things which we aren't supposed to know about. Until, of course, he reviews the tapes in the chest/handheld cameras - which is what a lot of people are predicting will be the subject of a number of the new entries.

He did say at the end of entry 26 that he might be gone for a while.

He said he would be gone for a while as he investigated Alex AND if he did something disastrous then chances are he wouldn't bother posting about it on the internets. I think when he went off the grid to investigate Alex, he also stopped posting on the internet and, what with all his forgetfulness, he just never thought to start posting things until he "woke up" a couple weeks ago.

Agreed; I'm thinking that a LOT went on during those seven missing months; he could have been completely caught up in something big and messy with no chance to sit down, relax and upload videos. I agree that we'll probably find out in retrospect what happened during the hiatus by being presented past tapes, like the first season.

Which I wouldn't mind, actually; you would think it'd be formulaic, but I think it'd be fascinating having pieces click into place little by little until you get the whole picture of what happened before the "wake up".

probably didnt have time since he was on the move so much, maybe he tried to stay off the internet as much as possible since at seems like he could be tracked that way, regarding entry ######

I notice that the wiki entry for number 28 doesn't mention the visual tearing at the top of the screen at all. It's subtle, but it's there.

Unless I'm just seeing things? Just thought I'd point it out.

I have looked through the footage again and did not notice any tearing.

Anyone else notice some tearing? And if so, then where?

In various TTA responses and entries, locked doors are a theme within the house that Jay visits. "There are doors unopened," does not necessarily suggest that a key is involved, however I think they may be playing into that theme. I can't really think of anywhere where something is specifically locked that required a key, though. It's probably a new location or item that requires this one.

Huh, I was going off of Mackdee's big minute-by-minute analysis, and he'd said that Jessica mentioned something along those lines. In either case, I still think that the play on words exists and functions.

I think you're actually right. That's one thing I'd noticed, but thought that others had picked up on. In entry #23, on the houses second floor, there are actually 5 doors. These are the bathroom, the bedroom masky runs into where Jay follows him, and the room with the framed operator symbol and masky's white pills (it's on the other end of the hall as the 3 locked doors when he first tries them). It's all really confusing because of his time loss, but at least one of the doors, the one beside the bathroom and possibly the door to it's left, remained locked the entire time and remain unopened. It looks like it has a keyhole, but the picture is a bit too blurry to be certain.

Jay visited the room that you mentioned in an earlier video. This is where he finds the bullet casing, pills, and bits of wall full of crazy. This is the same room that Alex was in in #14, the one where the Operator slowly opens the door and enters. The door to the left of that is likely to a small closet; logically there wouldn't be a tonne of room between the room on the left and the right, so it's probably the sort of thing that you might keep towels, sheets, cleaning supplies, etc. in.

It's likely that Jessica words her question in such a way because Jay has a camera strapped to his freakin' chest. She sounds like she's trying to grasp for where she knows him, and seeing as how he's got a camera, she's making the leap that perhaps it was some video somewhere.

Has anyone suggested that the KEY might open a locked door in the house?

I wouldn't mind seeing Jay go back there, but I don't know how they'd top the HOLYSHIT-fest that was Entry 23

I think that was pretty much the first thought in most of our minds.

I thought Entry 22 was freakier to be honest.
