Maybe Jessica's in a similar situation as Jay: woke up and doesn't remember how she got to the hotel, or why she's there. Maybe they've been TTA-ing it up together and now their memories are erased, but somehow the name is familiar enough that it penetrates the mind crush?

I've definitely seen Advil/Ibuprofen pills like that before, so they might be legit Ibuprofen.

Also, I think it might be significant that they're both J names. We know some of the cast adopts character names and others stick with their real names, though, so I guess we won't be able to know if it's the actress' name or a character name until we get a second batch of credits. But we have Amy and Alex (both A names) and now... Jay and Jessica.

Also also: One of the numbers that Jay tried on the safe is 1985. Possible birth year? If he's thinking that the safe is his and he set the code himself, birth dates/years is one of the most common motifs for choosing codes/passwords. That would make Jay 25 or so, which works out, if it was three years ago that the original college MH was filmed. Unless we've already got his age before at some point in the past and I'm just rambling at this point.

Alsox3: Maybe there's a mask in the safe, and Jay has been galavanting with TTA/Tim/Masky/whoever, but now something's happened and he had to erase those memories/something caused him to lose those memories. Or maybe he'll get into a state where he DOES remember the code, and it's cut off purposefully from his memory so the mask stays safe and Jay doesn't unwittingly jeapordize "the mission".

Posting a theory here before it gets too crazy with conspiracy.

Maybe Jessica is just a normal chick who just happens to be staying in the same hotel as Jay? It's also not completely unlikely that she recognized Jay from the videos. I mean, they have gotten really popular lately. My theory is that she has nothing to do with our tall and masked friends, and that she's just another girl. Either a Red Herring or a possible side-kick.

Posting other theories while I'm at it. These may have been posted before, but I'm not up for lurking around all the threads, so make do with random babblings.

1. We have no idea what happened during those seven months. For all we know, everyone but Jay could be dead. This could mean no TTA, no Alex, and no Operator. Remember, just because Jay can't remember those seven months, doesn't mean things didn't happen.

2. There is almost definitely no Operator in any of these videos. It doesn't make sense from a story point-of-view and it doesn't make sense from a directorial point-of-view.

3. The videos could go one of two ways now. Jay could go all Memento in here and try finding clues about all the stuff he's forgotten, or he could continue on with whatever clues he finds and only piece together the seven months along the way.

Obviously the focus of this entry is Jessica. She's suspicious as all hell. I get an antagonistic vibe from her. She seems really interested in why some guy she supposedly doesn't know has a camera. She's also doing... something in her room at night that's making distorted banging sounds (in b4 slendersex jokes). Also, what's the deal with her being the only other guest in the place and being right next to J's room? They're pushing suspension of disbelief here - why hasn't Jay confronted Jessica already when something's obviously going on?

There's also that safe. I wonder if the codes Jay showed himself entering have any significance, or if he was just pressing random numbers. Note how the safe keypad has letters like a phone keypad does. Maybe he should try YAMA (9262)

Does he explain? Did I miss that part? He can't remember anything. Why would he suspect he put anything in the safe?

I wouldn't say she's so suspicious he should immediately confront her, Sach. Plus, this is J we're talking about, who never suspected anything untoward about Tim at all.
