Great Entry. I loved how they introduced a new character. Its funny because I saw her in the last entry. Then I saw her again and was like "Oh hey its that girl again." then she actually talked to him which I didnt expect to be honest haha. I can tell she is gonna play a big role in this season. I mean, they are introducing a new character early on. She is gonna be dragged into this one way or another.

Hopefully the key will be used in the hotel because it looks like Jay is staying there for a while. It would be kinda pointless to go back to the house with out knowing why he ended up in the hotel in the first place.

They do look similar but they don't sound the same. They both have very distinct vocal ranges. It could be faked though, so it is possible they are the same person.

When Jay first passed her in the hallway we didn't get a proper look and she just looked like she was about the same height and had long dark hair.

However, having seen the side by side she actually looks nothing like Sarah.

Good to have you on board Red_Herring. To be honest I'm finding it hard to believe there is any personal connection between J + J which they've both forgotten. I think I'm leaning towards the idea that Jay has been in the news or reported missing.

I don't know... unless it winds up that everything comes back to the house in a culmination of plot points, I don't think that we're going to see that place again. It seems like too much of a stretch to me. The same goes for Jessica being an apartment-mate; it would take some seriously difficult turns to cinch together all of those points, and lay too much either on coincidence or on TTA/The Operator masterminding things to put them in the same place at the same time. And I don't think that this is going to be A Story About Jay and Jessica, regardless of how she might remember him.

I think that it's going to be about Jay, with a side character named Jessica; how she knows him, and why those noises are coming from her apartment, are a chapter along the way.

Anyways, KEY, by itself, is a nice mystery for later.

In regards to the puzzle of the safe, let's try to figure out what possible passwords might be. (I feel sorry for Jay, in game; if he's been trying codes at random now, it's been days! XD)

Firstly, I'm thinking we should decide on who locked the safe to begin with. There are a couple of options.

Jay, as himself: in this case, we should look for numbers that would be significant to him... however, I think this is the least likely option, given that Jay is in his right state of mind and has probably been doing this, himself.

Jay, not under his own influence: we don't have much evidence of how this could be significant, though the first thing that comes to mind is to take the videos that Jay has no recollection of: 17 and 20. So 1720 or 2017 might be possible codes, here. Return was also a clip of Jay not being himself, the description for it being '91'. 24 also shows Jay in a state that he doesn't remember, so these numbers could (in some combination) prove useful, if we're taking meta into account.
In character, Jay would probably have to analyze what was happening during those videos, if there was anything that might be relevant. (For example, at what point on the timer in 24 does he seem to lose his self-awareness? At what point does he get it back?)

Totheark: In this case, looking for various numbers that might hold value could take forever. I would imagine that '0000' would be obvious. Are there any four-letter words that could be translated on the phone-style number pad that TTA is specifically attached to?

Alex: 'HELP' translated into numbers might be a potential lead (and someone has mentioned this before, so sorry for the trout!) What are some numbers that might hold significance for him? The number of the house he was staying in? (did we have that to begin with?) This is assuming, of course, that he's still around and ran off, which is a long-shot.

Someone else: We don't know yet what Jessica's been up to. If, for whatever reason she's had access to Jay's safe, then those noises could be morse code. (What was it, iivi = 1151?) I'm not sure that I'd take that as the most likely outcome, though, given that it seems like a random sampling of noises that Jay has been picking up, rather than a pattern that repeats.

Anyways, who knows what he's tried in the intervening time. Maybe folks should send him a PM with their own thoughts on the matter (and flood their inbox! XD)

Jessicas a new character, she never lived near him (sorry that sounds absurd, besides if she had dont you think she would have attacked him for burning her place down?), she may or maynot have heard about him on the news *i would have said "HEY you're that missing freakie-deekie!" not "have you been in something ive seen" casual* and her response to his name is kind of like If someone i thought looked familiar walked up and said their name was Chad Britt *sounds like Brad Pitt lol* and was I'm like "that sounds familiar *confused face* ... what Im getting at is SHE IS NOT A FANBOI... i am 99.99999% sure the MH guys would NOT add some fannie in on the editing of the videos... they would make a new youtube page titled "CRAZIES" and post all the weirdos who approach them on the streets and at work and on the REAL facebook pages... *coughs* sorry for the soap box.....

What if Jessica knows EVERYTHING about Jay, and is playing dumb? She followed him to that hotel, as known what he has been doing the past 7 months, and more!
