Shut the fuck up, Donny.

You know, because of your picture.
I can do more obscure quotes if you like.

Joseph already said that they pretty much make peanuts off their Youtube partnership, anyway. Unless the money Jay makes for it is more In Game than it is out of game.

ok even considering that, he could very well just be putting all of his expenses on credit cards. granted he would be running himself into debt, it is a plausible way of surviving without any income.

I wouldn't be concerned with debt if I was being stalked by supernatural entities

Yeah, they really don't offer that much. The rough estimates I've seen online come to between $1.00-2.50 per 1000 views. Not that that's too measly, considering the thousands of views MH gets, but I think Arison's right, be it real-world or IG, this channel probably wouldn't support the travel and lodging Jay's been up to.

I'm in agreement with a few others here, his money most likely comes from a job he just hasn't mentioned from before the Slendy/Masky goodness started happening (he probably has a savings / checking account somewhere) in addition to whatever is left of his student loans.

[being an ass] Or he's a Bruce Wayne, and received a huge inheritance in the will, since he seems to have no family.[/being an ass]

**Edit, because I missed this and thought it was awesome:

I'm thinking the safe will contain a couple of things, like at least some of the tapes (they seem to have disappeared in transit), or at least an indication as to why Jays in this location. I think by now he's probably figured out at least what states he's in.

I got a feeling we're getting at least one never-before-seen tape outta that safe, though.

I like the theory that this Jess girl is one Alex's/Alex's girlfriend's friends on a similar search as well.

It would suck if inside the safe is just a TTA mask and a hoodie

I wish they would give J more "clues" at a time. I'll be really pissed if that safe is going to be the house of this season. (It being the only lead J has so he keeps going back to it over and over again w/o really learning anything.) Thats my one issue with season 1. I like answers.

Does he still have the return address? I mean trying to find Alex or fill in those seven months would probably be a good idea. (And would be a whole lot more interesting than J searching a hotel for months on end)

well lets split it down the middle and say the make 1.50 per 1000 views. and for arguments sake lets just assume that each video averages 100,000 views. 1.50X100=150 and there are 30 videos 150X30=$4,500. im just saying that and credit cards is enough to get by for 7 months. i dont think hes income is something to fixate oneself over

(I bet there is something in there though, maybe a video of what happened when he lost his memory/a mask?)

Well, the 2 cameras means that he was probably filming for at least a part of the 7 month gap. How much we can not say.

He said that they safe was his only lead. This means that he probably does not have any of the footage on his computer, or, if he does, it is in an odd place and he hasn't found it.

Thus, as stated before, it is likely that he has some tapes, cd, or an external hard drive in the safe containing some footage from his lost time.

Hmm... deja vu.

I wonder more about the camera.Where did he get it and why is there a fish eye lens ,correct me if I'm wrong but not many cameras have a fish lens default or even with it you usually have to but one.So that would mean that whoever left it with him wanted him to record(plus computer mean that they also wanted him to update) and wanted it look funky. And why does the laptop have Sony Vegas Pro?I would under stand if it looked like he used Windows Movie Maker but a $50 program just so his videos look fancy.

Well, he is a film student. As uncommon as Vegas is in film school (I'm currently in film school myself) if you have a PC, it's probably the best for its price range, and is my favourite PC-based video editing software by far. Cheaper than most, easy to use, and good quality.
