Well, he is a film student. As uncommon as Vegas is in film school (I'm currently in film school myself) if you have a PC, it's probably the best for its price range, and is my favourite PC-based video editing software by far. Cheaper than most, easy to use, and good quality.

Yeap. No self-respecting film student would use WMM for anything.

Is it Jay's laptop? I was under the impression that he just found it next to him

The safe is said to be "under the bedside table" if you go with a standard bedside table found in most hotel rooms the safe wouldn't be very big. Dad and I took a measuring tape to the bedside table we have (very close to one found in a hotel room) and it would only be able to hold something half a foot or possibly 8 inches underneath it.

Another thing, most hotel rooms don't come with a safe (at least not in this part of the country) so he is either in a more expensive room, paid more to get it in there, or brought it there himself.

Just some random thoughts that came to mind as I re-watched entry 28.

That's true, safes in regular, run of the mill hotel rooms are really rare. I doubt he would have brought it with him. Seems kind of odd to carry around a safe with you. I think it's more plausible that it was already in the room and he (or whoever booked the room/whoever made him book the room) paid extra to get a room with a safe, or booked it in a hotel that had them in the rooms automatically.

I wonder if Jessica has a safe too...

I was under the assumption that it was Jay's when I first saw it in #27. He's obviously using it to edit, and I'm sure if it wasn't his he'd have mentioned it as something 'unusual' he found in the room (and might've looked on it for clues by now).

Speaking of which... why hasn't he looked for clues on the laptop yet? Maybe he has and just found nothing, but I'm surprised it wasn't something he'd mention by now (unless it's forthcoming and I'm just being impatient... totally plausible).

(Edit: Clarification on my 'assumption')

This. I know I embarrassed myself pretty hard by defending the "Jess is Sarah" thing last video, but I'm with Drip here. I especially like the implication that Jess is one of Amy's friends, since she does seem to have dropped out of nowhere.

That could also explain why she knows Jay's name, if Alex ever brought him up to Amy while Jessica was around.

I don't know, I was under the impression that Alex had pretty successfully avoided everything Mable Hornets related up to the point Slenderman barged into his home. I don't think Alex would mention Jay, simply because he was part of what he willfully forgot.

Yeah, I would agree. I mean, Alex seemed scared when he saw a camera, so I highly doubt he would casually talk about the guy who had the videos.

as for the question about jay's income, it is very possible that his videos have become so popular on youtube (both in the real and ARG worlds) that google has approached him with a partnership offer, which would give him the money he needs to go on his little gaunt for 7 months.

Shut the fuck up, Donny.

You know, because of your picture.
I can do more obscure quotes if you like.

Hey there. First time poster, been lurking these MH threads for a while.

I just had an idea (which probably sucks, but oh well) about the Safe's combination. I was watching some TTA videos to see if there were any numbers in there that we could use, but no luck there. I did notice something, though. In 2 of TTA's videos (Program and Advocate) you can see a strange, moving S at some point. In Entry 28, we see that the safe is made by Safemark Systems. Just guessing that the 2 S's in the TTA videos could be an acronym for Safemark Systems. The entries that these two videos are connected with are Entry 14 and Entry 15. So maybe the combination could be 1415? Just a guess.

Of course, most of my ideas are comprised almost entirely of fail. Razz

Welcome, DoubleDog!

I am relatively new here as well, but I figure I will point you in the right direction with this train of thought:

A whole thread devoted to figuring out possible safe combos. I'm sure they'd appreciate your input over there! Very Happy

Hey, regarding Jay's 12-hour-long naps, I wonder if he's been pulling something similar to #24, where he goes to sleep and then does something that he wasn't aware of?

If that is the case we will get an entry about that pretty soon, otherwise, I doubt it because we have a night cam, that I'm pretty sure that Jay is cheking.

Otherwise what does he do while being awake?

I somehow doubt he sits on his bed to watch the hotel TV.

Or goes onto the internet to watch the hybri-*shoot*

We know he isn't safecracking 24/7, and even if he were, there's those fifteen minute breaks between attempts.

He might be exploring a lot, which is why he's so tired. Then again you'd think he'd have tweeted about that by now.

Or Dray is right and he's off doing naughty things in the dead of night.

I'm betting on Dray's right. Or the fatigue is one of the symptoms of Slendy-sickness coming back.
