What does (x) actually mean? ??? I've been wondering what the (x) symbol actually means, or if it actually has a confirmed meaning yet. I always thought it meant that Slendy had been in that location, but... what? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN????
Yeah.

From what I've seen, nobody knows yet...I'm pretty sure MarbleHornets will clear it up in this season, though.
There are a range of theories...some say it repels Slendy, some say it indicates Slendy is nearby. o,O

Simplest explanation: It represents Slenderman (called "the operator" in Marble Hornets), being a head with no face.

In Just Another Fool it means just that.

It means whatever the creator wants it to mean for their series.
Though it usually tends to just be thrown all over the place to let us know that this is indeed a story about Slendy.

From the stuff I gather from blogs it would be Slendy's "I was here" mark, a target sign, a protective sign against him or a face with an X on it.

It also means light source in circuit diagrams...
However here it more or less means "no face".

I like to think everyone has it the wrong way, or its drawn from Slendy's head tilted perspective
cos
maybe it's a target mark.

I always thought it was a crossed out camera lense. Mostly due to the theories around Marble Hornets regarding cameras attracting Slendy.

Woah, I never thought of that. But now that you mention it that seems like a really good theory.
