I skimmed it lightning quick - says he loved it, but he's biased on account of being a massive Tron geek.

Yeah, it's going to be great for those who love the series

"TRON LEGACY – I've no idea how it'll play beyond the core. I am the core, it works wonderfully for me. Far better than I was hoping for. I laughed and cheered throughout – and after the screening, Father Geek, Quint, Merrick and Son Of Merrick were united in gleeful TRON geekery for a full hour"

Does it matter at this point? Besides, that's HARRY FREAKING KNOWLES your talking about. He's one of the biggest geeks alive! That's a good sign that he loves this movie!

Don't think the write-up spoils anything we don't already know.

Wellll.... I know the movie is not testing well. I'm a huge TRON fan so I'll love it, but everything I've read so far, the movie is not getting rave reviews at all. Just being honest. But then again, I think movie reviewers are suspect anyway.

IMHO, there is only one spoiler

And it's only a slight one at that. Plus, it really begs more questions than it answers, so I can't see how it'd spoil the movie for anyone.

It's clear Knowles is a fan, and he doesn't want to ruin it for any geeks out there looking forward to it. His story is like mine, and I understand where he's coming from. We all want this for different reasons, and he's not about to deprive any of us of our experiences.

Point is, don't worry about reading the piece, it really isn't anything you need to avoid, especially if you've been following some of the more speculative threads around here.

Another review, CAUTION, MILD SPOILERS
http://www.joblo.com/index.php?id=34986

For those who don't want to read for the spoilers, they said basically that visually it was great, soundtrack was great, story was complicated (and for those who haven't seen the first film they might get 'bored' and there were some plot issues), young Jeff Bridges looked a little weird, Garrett Hedlund's acting was mediocre (he didn't "carry the film").

They gave it 7/10
Note also that the reviewer is a fan of the original film.

Here's my own review of the film (there's mild spoilers).
