I'm sitting here looking at my badges and getting nostalgic, it's been an amazing ARG! I really didn't anything could compare to TDK viral, but man, this really gave it a run for its money. I wish the ENCOM badges would have had some kind of significance and that the phones were actually used, but other than that it was top notch.

I will not be attending the screening, even though i'm in vegas bc i know it will be packed beyond belief.

Thank you 42E for another amazing experience and thank you Unfiction members for everything! Maybe one day I'll stop being lazy and make a login!

Why did meltdown 'end' with CLU smiling at us? Maybe that page wasn't from Kevin. Maybe it was from CLU. Maybe he needed us to open the portal so he can get out?

I think that only strengthens my theory that Clu, not Kevin, is the one who pages Alan.

Anyone think that they'll actually attempt to limit this to FL members only?

Btw, i believe the norelco screening for SF is on wednesday, not monday. so the SF tron advanced screenings will be on separate days.

Whaaaaaat? So am I supposed to go to this or the Norelco one in IMAX? They both are the same day at the same time...
Shocked

I'm leaning towards the IMAX. One... IT'S IN IMAX!! Two, once this link gets distributed and everyone starts finding out that there's a free screening of Tron Legacy on a first come, first served basis, it is going to become a MADHOUSE!!!

Have to say, compared to the way the endgame of Why So Serious came off (or from what I have heard), this is a real let down. Anyone who didn't even bother to participate in any of this gets to go? Wow. Kind of crap, that.

You know what, I am massively bummed out that the endgame was US & Canada only but, screw it, I already had IMAX tickets for opening night booked weeks ago - so I had to miss out one stage of this game, big whoop. 42E have been running this game for over a year now, and they've included everybody as much as possible, thanks to them I've got some awesomely geeky swag that I'm proud of, the community aspect has been great, and I've plain just enjoyed the ride.

So, thank you, 42 Entertainment, it's been fantastic, and I look forward to your next ARG! Very Happy

p.s. what was the point of the f***ing Flynn Lives phone I've been carrying around in my pocket since frikkin FEBRUARY!?!

p.p.s. Everything above the initial p.s. was absolutely sincere. Everything in the p.s. is just frustration bubbling over.

I think its kind of funny how I and I'm sure most of us were happy and had good feelings after end of line sequence.. then we found the screening page and just left that sour taste.. I would have been happier without a screening all together if that was the point.

It would have been epic and nice if in order for admission it was first come first serve but you needed to have an encom badge for admission.

Pardon my lameness...

I got lost here... I went to digital pulse it asked for a phone number
I was called, and asks for a technician code (the site says 3/13) but 313 gives me an invalid code... someone mentioned a pager number, but site traffic has made back tracking on the threads impossible....

Please explain to me what just happened!
Sad

I agree with you on all counts my man. It's a crying shame we have to wait until the general populace release date though. Still, BFI IMAX awaits me on the 17th, and I will enjoy that all the same, if not better by actually knowing I have a seat Smile

Yeah, seriously... THANK YOU 42ENTERTAINMENT!!

This has been an amazing ride that I don't think any entertainment related experience could ever hope to match. Getting a Tron sequel from Disney was unreal enough for us fans who have loved the original film since '82, but FLYNN LIVES has just been a completely insane bonus level!!

So, from me and my family... THANK YOU SO MUCH! You'll never know how much this has meant to me.

I don't know if this will make the UK members feel better or worse, but since you couldn't use the endgame because of the phone numbers, I thought I'd describe what happened. Sorry if this was already done by someone; the forums are continually saying "Server Error" to me so I'm having a hard time staying on top of the thread.

After I clicked on the colors, it brought me to a page that said disable popups, and then I input my phone number. It told me to wait for a call, and when I got it to input a four-digit agent code. There was some text from Zack explaining we were going to try to overload the server with the pulse, but we had to find the proper 3 digit code to log in.

So you get the phone call (which is why using a US number that isn't your phone wouldn't have worked, because it actually called the phone) a computer voice told you to input the agent code. After that you were directed to input 3 numbers using your key pad. After you entered them you were told whether or not you were correct, and how many numbers you entered were correct, and how many placements were correct.

I just entered 111 and 222 til I found the correct three numbers, then tried each placement till I found something that worked.

The code sent, Zack says that they're sending the pulse, and that it "seems to have worked" but someone is trying to "ping us back!" Then the meltdown screen comes up, with all the static-y pictures of lightcycles and programs, and, finally, Clu taking off his helmet and smiling at you through the window.

After that the window with the pager pops up; you guys know about calling the pager and getting the code.

The puzzle was interesting, but the prize was a let down, and I'm really sorry they left you guys out in the cold. That makes me saddest.

Seems like my state's always left out but I don't mind much, I still think the ending was amazing.

The pop-ups, the phone based input... It was fun trying to figure out my code.

I'm actually kind of sad it's over (lol).

Looking forward to the next 42E ARG. This one was a blast Smile

Also, can't wait to see Legacy even if it is the regular release date.
