As I said over on FB, well done to everyone for the great teamwork on this, & all the other events Smile uF members rock!

Thanks also to those wonderful folk behind the curtain for the excitement & rush of the events! It's been an amazing ride!!!

I hope all you US & Toronto folk have a brilliant time at the screenings!!! Seriously though, how could you have anything but a brilliant time, lol Very Happy

BTW, for non-US folk, I felt much more included in this event when I saw the footage that ydna posted in a different thread: http://goo.gl/vFkAR
Now it feels complete Very Happy

Bring on the film!!! w00t!!!

I don't get it. What was the big deal with the delivery of the swag today to each of the recipients? It almost seems like there should be something to that, no?

I agree with you on all counts my man. It's a crying shame we have to wait until the general populace release date though. Still, BFI IMAX awaits me on the 17th, and I will enjoy that all the same, if not better by actually knowing I have a seat Smile

What showing do you have? Me and a couple other Londonites have got the 6:10pm showing, gonna grab a beer with them - you up for it?

This is a good question - I'm not sure what came from the Lightcycle book code things.

Please explain to me what just happened!

I did that, too, initially.
Then I tried a 7 for the slash.

The only real downside I see is that some dick on facebook posted the information about the free screening. I personally think that the information should have been sent in the mail and if you did not have a pass you do not get in.

Great Job you guys.

42E, Thank you so much for making this past year so much fun...

Thanks to you guys I have made a whole library of new friends, except for you Rusty Muffler... Very Happy jk

42E this was the first movie I saw when I was a kid that I remember BLOWING MY MIND!!!

I just found out that I am officially graduated...My final review was at 5:00pm central time, and I just finished my MFA in Animation and it was because of TRON. Thank you from me personally for solidifying the reason I got it. I went into animation strictly because of TRON and I finished my degree on the day of the endgame.

I don't care how big of a wuss it makes me sound like, but I am almost in tears because of how significant this all is.

Steve and I are going to try to mail you guys several sets of Geometric Answers, cough...bits...

We are sending you one for sure, and we are trying to send others. That is my thank you to you guys because this whole year has been fruitful and full of excitement and it's only because of you guys.

This year was rough on me as well as a lot of people on here, and you are the only ones that gave us hope for enjoyment, and you came through with flying colors.

BLESS YOU 42E!!!

I really do thank you more than words like this will allow.

I live less than 10 minutes from Downtown Disney in Anaheim but I still think I would rather wait and see it next Friday. Just don't feel like wasting a half day of work to see the movie 4 days in advance.

Anyone going to Anaheim?

Man, I really wish everyone would kick the sour attitudes. Everyone is so easily jumping on the hater bandwagon. After all the stuff 42E has done for us, give them a break.

To join the bandwagon,

Both 42e and the everybody here on unfiction,

You're the best.

I haven't been following this campaign as much as Why So Serious? but this one has gotten my attention just as much and I find myself wasting more time on these forums than I should have (college and whatnot). It's been a great ride.

Thanks all around!
