The only real downside I see is that some dick on facebook posted the information about the free screening. I personally think that the information should have been sent in the mail and if you did not have a pass you do not get in.

Wow, thanks for that! I would be that 'dick'. (EDIT: I guess I'm one of the 'dicks' after reading confetti's post)

I think since there were people working hard over there too, and sharing information, and Flynn Lives specifically requested working together on it, that sharing the information when so many were having trouble with the code (O vs L, etc) would not only make sense, but be the right thing to do... but yeah, thanks for the name calling. Way to completely ruin the fact that I thought everyone on uF was incredible!

Do you really think Flynn Lives wouldn't share the link with everyone, regardless?

Please don't misunderstand my comments. It is not about helping people with the puzzle. It was posting the link to the free screening.

You got the email about the time change, right?

Yes sir. Will you be in attendance as well?

Definitely! My brother and I are driving up from Omaha for it! Have to say when I got that email this morning, before I opened it, all I could think after the fiasco of that website was, "Here we go! They canceled it or moved the date after we already took off work Monday and Tuesday!". LOL!!

I'm still trying to get a voucher. Hopefully night #6 pays off.

Did they move the time for all of them or just the one you guys are going to?

You do realize that the majority of people posting on Facebook today were uFers and others PLAYING THE GAME who got to the screening page themselves as well. Besides, the link to that screening page is gonna be passed around like wildfire over the next five days.

Too bad it's over... See you all on another ARG, and have a great time watching the TRON seqel !

It's funny that the whole campaign is to get us hyped up to see the movie (ie. pay money) and then the prize at the end is a free movie.

I have gotten a bit, an encom badge, a poster, a token, tickets to the trailer preview, and now a free screening. Not sure how the math works but I am fairly certain I came out on top.

I don't know if this will make the UK members feel better or worse, but since you couldn't use the endgame because of the phone numbers, I thought I'd describe what happened. Sorry if this was already done by someone; the forums are continually saying "Server Error" to me so I'm having a hard time staying on top of the thread.

After I clicked on the colors, it brought me to a page that said disable popups, and then I input my phone number. It told me to wait for a call, and when I got it to input a four-digit agent code. There was some text from Zack explaining we were going to try to overload the server with the pulse, but we had to find the proper 3 digit code to log in.

So you get the phone call (which is why using a US number that isn't your phone wouldn't have worked, because it actually called the phone) a computer voice told you to input the agent code. After that you were directed to input 3 numbers using your key pad. After you entered them you were told whether or not you were correct, and how many numbers you entered were correct, and how many placements were correct.

I just entered 111 and 222 til I found the correct three numbers, then tried each placement till I found something that worked.

The code sent, Zack says that they're sending the pulse, and that it "seems to have worked" but someone is trying to "ping us back!" Then the meltdown screen comes up, with all the static-y pictures of lightcycles and programs, and, finally, Clu taking off his helmet and smiling at you through the window.

After that the window with the pager pops up; you guys know about calling the pager and getting the code.

The puzzle was interesting, but the prize was a let down, and I'm really sorry they left you guys out in the cold. That makes me saddest.

Thanks for that info harl Smile
The UK missing out on free tickets hasn't bothered me personally as ive got my seats booked for BFI IMAX on the 17th Smile

What is there to misunderstand?
You've resorted to name calling for sharing a link with people on the Flynn Lives post that were all working towards the same thing. Since I had already seen it on twitter multiple times, & multiple ppl here have said they posted it on FB as well, I really don't think it was much of a secret either. If it was suppose to be only for uF members, then 42E would have made sure that it was only possible for uF members.

Still, the name calling tells me this discussion is probably starting from the wrong place for it to end well.

Crying or Very sad

Anyway, its been my first ARG...and I gotta say it's been one hell of a ride. I remember getting the "Screen Scene" achievement. and being hooked form there.

If any part of this has been my favorite, it has to be Circuit Cycles. That was a fun little flash game. It didn't dawn on me until later that the badge was spelling something out and that got a giggle out of me.

Out of all of this, I got a postcard, several pins, an Encom badge, a few posters, and indelible memories...

I'm kinda sad Crying or Very sad that this has to end, but I just got to meet some of the NY forum crew earlier form the "botched" drop meet and...I kinda wonder what they're going through now.

It's been fun, guys and gals...

So let's continue to electrify the boys and girls, if you all will be so kind...

End of line.

Someone on FB said the ELECTRIFY site has already been posted to freebie/deal websites.

Unfortunate, but inevitable.

After being embarrassingly invested in the TDK ARG, I sat this one out until today (wow I forgot I had a login!) and the online component was actually very cool! What I want to know is how they code all that stuff! Laughing

Although I'm still disappointed for you guys that the screening is first-come first-serve for the general public. I certainly think that long-time players should have priority over a chump like me.

But since this game is over and the forums slow down, maybe I'll finally get around to nursing its poor lonely Wiki. Laughing
