At the Tron Night event, attendance at some locations was low enough they were pulling people off the street to watch. Not saying that's as likely now, but there is a point in that.
I would think Flynn Lives members would be given preference, because that's who even found out about this and was addressed in the web page. I don't think any of us would really want to exclude anyone, just be assured that we can get to see the screening we worked to discover. I don't think I'll be able to make it, but I'd like to think that if I could, I wouldn't end up still being unable to see it because a bunch of people who didn't spend the bulk of the year following this saw it on some movie or gamer blog and decided to camp out. That's basically how Tron Night worked - if you got a ticket, you were sure you had your chance if you could show up. Seems like the fair way to go this time too.

A request from your beloved APE. I know a lot of people have their own priorites when it comes to swag. A lot of people are really cool about grabbing extras to give away.
But none of these 13th screenings will be near Dallas, Houston is just too damn far away and I am not a Houston fan.
Can anyone on the list for our "geometric answers" try to grab me whatever swag is going to be at one of these events?
I would really appreciate it!

I attend a lot of film screenings and your chances to see the film depend on the market you're in, the movie you're seeing and how tickets were distributed. Since this is a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE, no ticket, free-for-all... it will be VERY HARD. Once words gets out that a FREE screening for Tron Legacy is happening with no need for tickets, tons of people will show up.
The chances of the theater giving any preference to ARG players is slim to none. It's hard enough for security simply check for passes and cameras let alone verify if you played the Flynn Lives ARG.
Regarding the line starting at 5pm... It depends on the Theater. Some places have an outside pre-line that starts much earlier. Some places let the queue start inside the theater. Depends on the weather as well.
How early to show up? For an average film, I'd suggest no later than 6pm. For a big film, I'd suggest 5pm or earlier. When I saw a screening of Inception, people were already in line at 4pm. Doors will open 30 minutes early but don't think you'll be able to show up at 7pm and get seats.
With all of this in mind... I'm passing on the screening. I purchased my Imax tickets when they first went on sale on fandango. I also have tickets to see a screening of Black Swan that same day.

It'd be nice if there were some way for Disney and 42 Entertainment to know which of the thousands of players of their game actually bought tickets to the film and/or products related to it or otherwise helped promote it. I'd really, really love to be rewarded by being included on a trailhead in the future for buying toys and opening night IMAX tickets for the whole family... But I probably won't.

Adding to the list of people who would appreciate our fellow FLargers picking up some extra swag to send to those of us who can't make it.
I guess I should have seen Charlotte not getting a screening since Tron Night in Concord was barely half full.

When WSS had their screenings, I'm pretty sure nobody got swag. Things could be different for this, but I doubt they'd hand out things for a public screening.
I was wondering too why we gave them our phone numbers so many times.

briefly considered 10 hour round trip to chicago, but we just got blanketed with snow, so no way I'm attempting that.
I hope there ISN'T exclusive swag for me, I hope there is for those that make it!
as for not allowing lines, how could they possible prevent people from getting there early?

Flynn Live Pin being given out apparently! Stitch Kingdom just posted a link to this photo on their FB page: http://twitpic.com/3fov8x . Please 42 Entertainment, don't make the screenings the only way to get one of these pins!
Edit: Although I guess depending on how many show up to these screenings and the instructions to the people running the screenings...some members here might be able to get a good number of extras...*crosses fingers*

Seeing that there is swag, and quite a few people here aren't able to attend, I'll add myself to the list of people who would like a pin.
But I hope they also send these out or something (fingers crossed as well).

OH man, that would be cruel to get up at 530 am to run around in the rain all day for Digital frontier, and then the only way to get these is be number one to the sticker, or show up to a free screening anyone can go to...well not anyone as I can't :p

Tell me about it. I burned my last vacation day on Digital Pulse. I'm seriously considering just leaving now and trying to make it JUST to get a pin. I don't really want to see the movie before I see it midnight at IMAX anyway. But I'm holding out hope that they'll do one last mailing of the Flynn Lives pin as a thank you to all those who participated.
I have no evidence of that, but it seems like it's a nice gesture to finish it off.
I don't know how Why So Serious completed, but for The Beast we got a special AI poster with everyone's username on it. It was definitely a cool keepsake.
