Possible Free Screening to Tron Legacy for Select Screenings

A Buddy of mine sent me this link this morning. My city wasn't listed in the select cities they are advertising, but hopefully others might have some luck.

http://www.3dshave.com/tron/

EDIT: Seems like they allocate a certain amount of tickets per day... I have no idea whether it is old or not, but I lurk these forums (hence the 2007 registration date and the 30 some posts) and I haven't seen this posted yet.

GodDAMN they're already gone, for New York at least. Thanks for the heads up tho.

Edit: The discs game is astonishingly both awful and annoying.

Hit Boston and then submit, but nothing happened. Did you get a message for the NYC event saying it was sold out?

Website is semi broken. Sometimes you have to click on a link multiple times. After selecting a city, the folloiwng pops up:

"Join us for an advance screening of Disney's TRON: Legacy!
Limited number of free pass vouchers available per day until
December 12, 2010. If today's allocation is gone, please try again tomorrow. Voucher is good for two complimentary passes.
Date: December 14 m2010
Time: PRE-SHOW EVENT 7p.m.
Screening begins promptly at 8 p.m.
Address: etc.

Please arrive early, seating is first come first blah blah blah"

Yeah, registered for the site and went back and it worked after clearing cache. Anyone know what time zone this is based on? Plan to check it again at 12:01 Eastern tonight/tomorrow. Seems sketchy that they dump you to the purchase page when all tix are gone. Curious to see if anyone actually scores passes to these screenings. Thanks for the heads up on this LordAcoustic.

Seems sketchy that you have to click on the print voucher button, only to be told that they're out of vouchers.

Agreed. I will keep trying and let everyone know if I score any passes. Site looks legit, just the process that makes me wonder.

Just found out about this myself. Seems there is a daily allotment as I was directed to come back and try again tomorrow...Well, if a razor company is giving out free screenings I have to think Flynn Lives will as well... Rolling Eyes

Well I guess that explains the razor promotion we saw in the other thread...
