I use Vent for Gaming some people dont ahve or cant use a mic for reasons*
So one sided chat is somthing we see when one is on vent and another is typing reponce:
[Host]: I need that book. I hope you haven't changed your mind.
Say what are you offering in return?
[Host]: I can still help you find your father.
say Why are you leaving / where are you going?
[Host]: I can't stay. In the good faith, I'll upload a picture. You told me you wanted to see him.
say Tell me how did you know my father?
[Host]: We were co-workers. A long time ago.
say Why did he tell you all this?
[Host]: he trusted me.
[Host]: when others didn't
[Host]: he knew I understood what he went through
say when can we talk again?
[Host]: i'll be here next week. same protocol.
Thats my take on it (kinda) still disapointed alot tho...

Jane -
Your idea about the one voice / one type chat makes a lot of sense. Maybe the typist (mysterio/Rand Miller ) actually is someone whose voice Josh would recognize. Whatever the reasoning is for the one-sided chat - I hope it was intentional and not sloppy planning.

If you watched the chat live there wasnt enough time for anyone to respond to anything. He typed out line after line nonstop. took all of 2 minutes.
Interesting idea tho..

ive been lurking this ARG since the initial beginning of it when i heard about the preview reels and iron man 2 and all that jazz. i finally made an account though because i want to start to contribute instead of just lurking.
my hypothesis is that possibly trogl could be a key to something like a password or a codeword for confirmation. or it they could be an acronym for what they call the creature

Welcome respawn;
Yes, TROGL along with the circled word BINDER and part of the word backbone being blacked out does mean something.
We just need to put our thinking hats on and get to work figuring what they all mean!
Thanks,
XL

Binder Binder Maybe Binder refers to Otto Binder?
The first report of UFOs on the moon that found its way into print was in an article in Saga Magazine, authored by Otto Binder, formerly employed by a NASA contractor. In a special UFO issue of the magazine in 1972 he traced many of the reported sightings and noises seen and heard during the Apollo series.
Who was Otto Binder? He is the author of two books "Flying Saucers Are Watching Us," published in 1969 and 1971, and "What We Really Know About UFOs," in 1968. He authored over 300 non-fiction articles on scientific and UFO subjects, and articles in science yearbooks on chemistry, astronomy, physics and biology. He was a member of the American Rocket Society, American Interplanetary Society, National Spaceflight Association and Aerospace Writers Association.

Apparently he also wrote a lot of the Aquaman comic book stories i.e.
The Undersea Lost World (1949). Writer: Otto Binder. Art: John Daly. Aquaman helps a team of scientists explore the ocean floor, one of mankind's last frontiers of unexplored territory. This story resembles Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's sf novel The Lost World (1912), in that the characters eventually find themselves in a region filled with large prehistoric animals.
The Sunken City of Gold (1956) Aquaman is asked to lead an expedition of scientists to a region of prehistoric marine life that has suddenly emerged from the sea floor.
prehistoric marine life.... coelacanth

Otto Binder ist reasonable.
I even found some very slight connection between Otto Binder and Moby Dick:
Jim Shooter talks in an interview about Otto Binder and "Super-Moby Dick of Space". Even if those two doesn't seem to be related.

Ok...so I did not see any mention of this so it makes me think that perhaps I am way off.....in the photo with the classic story and Josh's thumb is there not a marking on the "L" in library and also what looks like marker on the second "C" in classics. Perhaps "back and binder" are not the only things we are meant to be working with on the page. What say the brain trust?

I know we are all saying back binder or variations of such but I wanted to post this picture
So to me variations could very well be
BAC since it seems the K is marked out as well.
KBO as the letters that are marked
How funny will it be if this means nothing ?
