Colored Ruled Lines

I did notice it on the originals. But the lines also run across the badges, so it wasn't the background. And since even the mildest nuance can have some odd meaning, I was just wondering if anyone thought the same.

Again, I may be looking so hard that I am missing the forest through the trees.

Frustrated

I was out for almost a month, without being able to access the internet, cell phones had no signal, the landlines were so far that we only had access once a week and by boat (was beginning to think that the world had been taken by zombies Shocked ). I started to think about how many pages would I have to read to update myself when I comeback, and to my surprise (unfortunately Crying or Very sad ) almost nothing has happened. Basically an update on STIES, a new calendar and a promise of a new chat session. I am so disappointed. And what about RocketPoppeteers…? Evil or Very Mad

BTW Adm_BlackCat, Nice work with the coordinates. Very Happy

Colored Lines
Copier streaks or what...

My opinion about the red/ blue streaks are that they are either copier streaks that are on that particular copier a plastic cover that reflects or more likely a effect to imitate copier streaks, the images themselves look completely adobe created simple crimping and shading techniques used.

That would make sense since this is a ARG.

Now how they were created or copied is irrelevant until we come to a point where we get another copier streaked image and do not know if its origin EG: we know Mysterio sent these, (I think Confused )

I have lined up the images and they are the same size as if they were copied. The lines are random and do not appear to match.

Just to point out the streaks were on the originals when I first posted the thread.

So lets just say we've noted the lines and will look for them again Wink

Jane Smith;

Appreciated your comments re: the badges and color lines, as well as the alignment.

I know you are very qualified on PhotoShop, and let me pose this question.

Can you overlay all of the badges one on top of the other, relevant to the ruler markings on each one, i.e. matching the 2 inch mark and aligning each image relevant to that marker? I don't have the talent yet to do much with computer altered/accentuated photos and art, but I've seen your work and am curious what, if anything, might be revealed.

This may have been asked in one way or the other, but I've not seen an image overlay of this. If this is too time consuming, don't bother, just curious.

Thanks,

XL

Was gonna say I did a few overlays looked like xumx post, i did a few others where I lined up different aspects also like Image and card line..the same pretty much I also set the saturation colors of the lines to bring them out I did not see anything special myself .

So for now I think we are all seeing the same things

Cards with auth, dot codes
Identification codes
Expiration codes
Image codes
and maybe the ruler placement ?

We will see =)

 Image is not the cover

YAY! Finally some action!

Something to notice about the comic... Josh has opened the cover to show us TROGL. So the image we see on the right page is actually within the comic - it's not the cover. It's going to be hard to try to find that 2nd page and the version it belongs to.

As for Rip Van Winkle... here you go Very Happy

Binder

RE: the circled binder.
Mysterio says to use the same protocol for the chat, which seems to mean to use the same password. Still, why is binder circled?

There's this company with HQ in Germany – Binder (i is short vowel sound). They have a US location in NY. This is their logo:

It's interesting that they have the three triangles that are similar to the three dots. Anyhow, they manufacture these incubation chambers used in all kinds of research.
Maybe the TROGL and circled binder message is telling Josh that he (or someone) is a product of research/experiment done at the Technology and Research Operations – Groom Lake facilities using these Binder Chambers.
Here's a link to the company website.

It all seems so sterile and surreal - I almost thought it could be in game. But it seems to be a very big, legit company. There's a strange little video they invite viewers to watch with these little Pilz People in different climates.

Here's the link to the video: http://www.binder-world.com/en/products/constant-climate-chambers/the-pilz/

Same protocol

I believe the "same protocol" to acess the chat session refers to the process to determining the password. I was thinking that the new password (if there is a new one) would be bobbitworm121 or something to do with Red Oscar fish (October 20th). 121 is the page of november's 23rd post, the tittle's post is all uppercase, and the Bobbit Worm is quoted by Josh on october's 20th post, the Red Oscar Fish is the beloved dead fish.
If the password remains the same the chat session would eventually become unsafe too, right? Or the "same protocol" is only a reference to the day of the chat (3D & 5O's)? Question

It's also the tri-force from Legend of Zelda...

For the last password after the "4D & 5O's last leg.(Mysterios wrote) Bring the foghorn and the unexpected title."
This last clue was much more simple. He simply reffered to a date with the 3D & 5O's last leg. He made no reference to anything else. Unless we use the circled word "binder" and the half of the blacked out back---- (backbone). So our password clues are possibly BINDER BACK. What if the clue is refering to kcidybom. moby dick backwards or some variation of that perhaps dick moby.. What do you think?

So what did Mysterio mean by telling Josh "...you must stop using this account."

Is it your understanding that he is referring to the e-mail messages they have (presumably) been communicating with each other on the PDP console?

If that's so, you'd think that future communiques will be announced on chats--if not there, then where?

It would seem that there will come a point in time when Mysterio has extracted all of the useful info he feels necessary to end his relationship with Josh, and then what happens to Josh, his father, Mysterio, and the ARG.
