Hahaha. So true. It's very slowly getting there. But that trailer genuinely had me on the edge of my seat.

Pffft, you guys. TribeTwelve, besides MarbleHornets, is the best active Slendy Vlog Series. It's EMH that's 'slowly getting there', if anything they're slowly moving farther away from 'there'. TribeTwelve is already 'there', and has been there since their last few videos.

Man, I don't even like Tribe Twelve and that trailer makes me want to watch it.

I'd like Tribe Twelve if:

1. it decided to do something original (I was so into it around the Grandpa episode/ the few after that, but the latest video about the pills shifted it back into blatant MH ripoff territory)

2. If Noah wasn't such a bad actor

3. If Noah's second fucking word in every fucking sentence wasn't fucking fuck. Though this really just comes back to "Noah is a bad actor". YOU CAN SHOW OTHER WAYS THAT YOU ARE UPSET. DO THEM.

Things TT does right:

1. Slendy effects
2. Audience interaction. Oh man he does this about 1000x better than Jay ever could

New symbol, establishing more on the pills than MH did, stayed at a friggen fan's house, responding to tweets, acting less passive and more aggressive...

Fix'd.
Noah has improved a lot since the first submissions. His acting doesn't suck in the least: like jonclubs. *shudder*

That was really only in the latest video, The Token Letter, Unknown Caller, and Night Recording, and it's all appropriate. Most people would curse out of frustration and fear, I know I certainly would. How else would he react? "Oh no!", "I am scared!", "Oh darn! This certainly is frightening!", "Gosh! This is quite unsettling!" Confused

3. Each video isn't a long and drawn out snoozefest, each is interesting in it's own right.
4. He says he does it for fun, not competition.
5. Legitimately adding to the mythos
6. Not sucking, like those other, lesser known vlogs that rip off more than TT did initially

He didn't really establish anything about the pills. He was more active about them, but didn't expand on them at all. They're still mystery pills. And yes I already said he has better audience interaction, and has a more believable reaction to Slendy than Jay, but other than that he's been a complete ripoff.

Noah's improved, but still isn't that great.

Fair enough, but that + the pill ripoff totally brought the series down for me

They're interesting, but most of the time it's been done by MH

What, because he declares it's not a competition he's automatically exempt from comparison/criticism? PROTIP: It was never a competition.

Ok I'll admit it's not bad, but it's certainly not that good.

Maybe just an expansion of the mythos? I know that the operator flew off the handle like crazy, but it started from MH too.

Well, I think that Noah's character is one that tries to stay robotic about his words on the internet (remember, the first 6 vids? Those were pretty emotionless words on the intro), and he did keep it up when nothing really affected him. I'm pretty sure he only started cussing when he was in immediate danger. After the night recording video, when he first starting dropping F-bombs, Noah appolagized for his innapropriate language or something in a tweet

Just because he introduced pills doesn't mean it's a 'ripoff' at all. If some of the pills were missing I would be inclined to agree with you. It's the way the pills would be used or what would happen to them that would make them a 'ripoff'. And he did kind of expand on them, saying that some are actually identifiable.

>>They're interesting, but most of the time it's been done by MH
They've already deviated from the imitation and don't plenty of things MH didn't do...Tentacles, grandpa, audio analysis, active fear, use of weapons, (nosebleeds, lol). Confused

Also, if it's 'certainly not good' then it wouldn't have over 3000 subscribers.

But most of them are still mystery pills, and they've just been introduced, they haven't had the opportunity to mysteriously disappear yet. They will.

Tentacles were already in the mythos, the grandpa was original and I already said that's so far been the high point of the series, the audio analysis was okay, his fear is pretty good, and Jay had a knife :3

We're not dealing with mass media crap here - it's not as though TT has a PR budget and a crack team of advertising agents pushing it. If numerous individuals here like it and want to defend it that's probably a sign that they find it good. You might say it isn't good by your standards but if you want to say TT is objectively bad you need to explain why the standards you use to judge these things is inherently superior to those other people use.

I've already explained it; but simply put, it borrows too much from MH. Even ignoring MH, it's only okay on its own, looking at the series as a whole. Like I said before, the Granpda episode and the one or two after that were great, but other than that not so much.
