I think what makes it the most shocking is that we're not exactly sure what happened, and thus it leaves the audience in TOTAL suspense.
This is brilliant. In three minutes, it became one of the best episodes of the entire series.

Ummm, if you read the entry carefully, it was Alex's parents and sister shot dead, and Chris's father.

Uhh...seemed pretty clear to me -shrug-

Alex's parents/sister are dead, as mentioned in the opening text. (Read the "he/his" in the second group of text as "Alex/Alex's".

Chris' parents (I mean, presumably both, as we don't see his mother...At least I don't think...Maybe she's in the tub and thus out of sight?) are dead, as Chris discovered.

 		IMO, this video make DH right up there with MH, if not a little bit better, especially in plot.

Oh, I get it now. Still pretty shocking, though. Its like seeing his near-death all over again--in the tub, just like on February 24th. It looked like his Dad was shot, then hanged (or the other way around). If Chris reacted this bad...imagine what happened to Alex. I don't think either will ever be the same again.


And if any of you noticed, there's a new playlist. Log Entry #28 was added to Dark Harvest II (making the second season a total of 31 videos), and the 29th log added to "Dark Harvest III", and I assume #30 will be added later. I guess that means we have a third season ahead of us, probably over 30 videos, and way more epic. A new bright horizon comes to the slenderverse, fellow Unfiction friends, like the coming of a new dawn... Cool

I'll certainly have a clearer view once both series ends and one can clear through both one more time, but I've enjoyed DH generally far more than Marble Hornets (though the last Entry for MH was enjoyable enough). Ag ain, perhaps it's just hindsight talking, but DarkHarvest00 has been far more consistent as far as the quality of their entries.

The especially exciting thing is, from a viewer perspective, is the fact that more entries are likely soon on the horizon (this isn't the sort of situation where things are likely to stay still for long periods of time). I'd probably expect a slower entry of sorts involving Chris and Alex arriving over at Heather's house and discussing the aftermath of this whole situation and subsequent plan.

That music playing in the background. That isn't something i'd imagine The Order doing. Does anyone else suspect that maybe this was Habit's doing? We know we're already getting an EMH and TT crossover in the near future, it isn't too much of a stretch to get DH involved as well.

In the previous log it was clear that Alex and Chris didn't want to get involved with Heather. If the Order had been spying on them they would know that, there would be no reason to threaten them by killing their family. But it does sound like something Habit would do to get them involved again (and a chance to cause some mischief).

 		HABIT is been gone for awhile, leaving Vinny in his house with pizza and some money on the table, telling him not to go anywhere. He clearly has more work to do. The logical thing we can think of is HABIT getting his "guests" as he said in the most recent video. Also, he already made a VERY brief cameo in Obituary on TT (flash second at the 0:26 mark).

Chris mentions that it was hard to hear Alex because the music was to loud--and the music was also loud in Chris's house. I think it is the Order's doing...but then again, playing music as a form of mocking them is a little out of character for the order, don't you think? In fact, the Order hardly insults anyone. They threaten, and I don't think they'd use a song like "My Favorite Things" to do so. HABIT would. HABIT loves mocking his victims.

There's a good chance that TT, EMH, and DH will crossover...AT ONCE. That would be epic to see, even if some fans might hate it.

That does seem like something HABIT would do.

 		If this is the Order, and not an EMH crossover, then someone needs to smack the Order's leadership with a stick. If they really wanted the duo to stay out of their business, killing their families was the absolute last thing they should have done.

Dead families = no incentive to stay out of the Order's business.

They're actually afraid of them. Its there, but its subtle. They're only being like this out of fear--they're the cowards, not Alex, Chris, Jeff, and Daniel.
