Except the Order isn't Slendy's support base at all; he consistently ignored the Order by their own admission, only ever showing up when Chris, Alex or Noah was around. The series has consistently pointed out that despite all the murder and cultish stuff they are really just a sad joke not worth their God's time.

I don't think Slendy really cares about the Cultists but I do think he needs them to for forfill his insidious prophecy (Opening the rift to let all the other Gorr'ryahoteops into our world)

An entire dimension's worth of them. Cool

How do you know that? I don't remember reading that in the black book...

I get the impression that it's more a Lovecraftian thing, in that the seal will be broken and the great hoards of darkweavers and hellsingers will spill through and bring on the end times. Or something.

Well, this "Lovecraftian" universe might be the one the Collective lives in. The universe that KindVonDerRitter and the Observer describe sound awful similar. Maybe this "fourth world" is really just a plot by Slendy to trap them in the Collective. But I could be wrong.

...and what about HABIT? Where does he come from?

It has been sort of implied, but not confirmed. That video about the Princeton Experiment said it was based on an Egyptian ritual meant to bright forward "a Gorr'Rylaehotep" rather than the Gorr'Rylaehotep.

If that rift really is meant to be how Slendy entered our world, then that begs the question of how he was around for WWII and in ancient Egypt, unleass it's just time travel. That, or the fourth world really is the Collective world and Slendy can come and go as he pleases (and just showed up at the Princeton Experiment for the fun of it?)

I got the impression that opening the rift is more for the cultists' "benefit" than for Slendy's. They want to go to the Fourth World. Probably with the Princeton Experiment they basically opened Slendy's front door, so he decided "hey, why not" and killed them all for the lulz. He seems to be able to pop wherever he pleases regardless of rituals, at least.

That's assuming that he is actually Gorr'ryahoteop from the fourth world. The only people who act like he needs them to fullfill a prophecy is the Order who are a bunch of homicidal nutjobs, and the only interactions we've ever seen between Slendy and the order involves him killing them.

As for the rest of the verse;

* HABIT is the biggest enimga of them all, with next to nothing about him confirmed. Everything we really know about him comes from either his actions or his own words and a single file.
* The Collective were at one point normal people, but have since joined up with Slendy as assistants. At least two (Mr. Scars and Cursor) died in the real world in their human guise but are still kicking around doing Slendy's bidding.
* The Rake is another unknown factor in all of this.

So plenty of factors between Dark Harvest, Tribe Twelve, and EverymanHYBRID. I have no idea about Daniel's blog so that could be bringing even more into play.

DUDE. You haven't been reading his blog?! You are missing out on a LOT.

It seems that lot of the mystery in DarkHarvest00 is solved...we know a lot of the Order's leaders and origins (compared to most slendy series where everything has to be a mind-screw plot), and we kinda know about Gorr'Rohytehp's orgins (kinda).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Can't say I'm surprised the Order showed up, but this thankfully clears up, for those doubting, that yeah, it was the Order involved. Also, interesting to note that one of the two Order members has the "Executioner" mask, that was first shown when Jesse was killed.

That long first-aid scene was tense as heck.

All in all, another very enjoyable entry. You'd think the Order would send better shooters than these guys (unless, of course, their intent was not actually to kill Heather, but rather just wound her to throw off suspicion). I guess we'll see just whom this friend is in the next entry (I know the crossover rumors have been prevalent....and especially since Noah just recently found himself with a whole lot of money...Though, to be fair, Extraordinary Circumstances occurred after the events in this video).[spoiler]

Also, I really have a craving for re-watching this series yet again from the beginning (for the third time, I think?). Knowing that all the past stuff has led up to this (to think, it all really started with, really, "Hey, do you believe in ghosts?" [Yeah, I know, that was Log Entry #2, but nonetheless]).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Had this video happened story-wise after Extraordinary Circumstances and around the time of Noah's lastest tweet, I would be inclined to think it's crossover, however, given the time-frame, my guess is it could be anyone.
