Shit got real really really fast

The open guts + the fast moving camera worked well, it was hard to see it accurately. It looked okay, all things considered

That was really intense, though the build-up was kinda long, it was certainly very climactic

O.O Impressive.

Oh. And it just occurred to me:
"Beware the ides of March."
That's today. I guess that explains the Latin.... >.>

Wow, great climax. The build up was a little slow, but it made the payoff that much better. I'm reminded of the 2-part Angel's Game video with Slendy chasing them.

Also, I honestly wasn't expecting Slendy in this one, that was a nice surprise. I was just expecting Kinvonderritter.

Great work with the slight audio distortion as the camera passed over the basement door. Definitely creepy stuff.

Holy shit, that was really awesome.

Thoughts:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
- Interesting that they seem to have expanded the cast.
- I thought the first video wouldn't be too scary because of all the people there - after all, the guy's got like half a dozen buds there who can come running if he yells, right? But they did a really good job once Chris ended up in the house of making him increasingly isolated from the crowd outside, until the end where he went into the basement and you couldn't even hear the people outside any more...
- Decent gore effects are a big plus.
- Did they actually break a window to do this or did they do clever editing to make it look that way?
- Points for realism on this one. They had just the right mix of wanting to find out what had happened to Greg on the one hand and not wanting to actually break into his property needlessly on the other. And the chaos that breaks out when they find Chris and Greg, with people running around and getting nauseous and panicing, seems pretty realistic too.
- Interesting to see the same events from two different camera angles.

Not sure whether it's viable for them to keep up this standard, this clearly took a lot of effort. But if they take the opportunity to expand the cast who knows what they'll be able to accomplish? This clearly isn't just a Chris and Alex thing any more - maybe we'll start seeing videos from their friends as the harvest gets going?

Back from page 15:
Long-haired fellow gonna die.

Though I AM excited for some sort of plot-event! Maybe it'll even tie into shtuff!

Quoting myself because of sheer grim satisfaction that I predicted that. But yeah, this video REEAALLLLY made the wait worth it, I was super impressed by both realism and build-up of intensity, along with the really cool effect of the two different cameras (which added yet another layer of realism, at least for me).

I'll wait to discuss implication and speculations for a bit so as not to spoil too much.

The sound distortion stuff that happens when slendy is near/something bad is about to go down makes me nervous and slightly nauseous for some reason.

...I love it

So I officially might have to start following Dark Harvest now...

The suspense in #14.2 was a bit drawn out, but the payoff was just incredible. I haven't watched any of the other videos (well a few from the antagonist by accident lurking in this corner of the forums) but I'm convinced I have to start watching this now. Acting isn't half bad, they have a good sense of suspense... good stuff.

I apologize for not actually contributing anything in this post, but I'm just sorta wide-eyed Shocked over how much I liked this. Big, and very rewarding, surprise.

I don't know why everyone is going totally gaga over these new videos. They're ok, but not GAME CHANGER OMFG material. Sure, the slenderman appearance was neat, didn't fail to please there, but everything else seemed...boring. The 8+ minutes of nothing really killed any suspense I had and replaced it with something along the lines of, "ok ok, show him already, ugh". The blood was done, alright. Just looked like someone splashed meat over the guy, tbh. It wasn't the payoff people have been promising judging by the comments, but it's certainly better than their previous stuff. The vids are mainly...bland to me, lacking the kick the other series have.

These new videos are fantastic! When I saw two 10+ minute videos, at first my heart sank and I was totally expecting an Angel's Game- / Outside Agents-esque pointing-camera-at-feet-the-whole-time type deal. Despite a few slow bits, the action was paced incredibly well, especially in the first video. Great editing too, it helped trim the fat a bit. It's a nice refresher from the less-than-stellar quality of some of the other vlogs in terms of camera work and content.

The bit in the basement was great. I loved the small touches they made with the static, like when he turned the camera away and it was obvious something was happening behind him and you're just like, "TURN AROUND! NO WAIT, DON'T! OH SHI-" I also wasn't expecting our tall friend either, so that was awesome too. Added to the "OH SHI-" factor.

These two videos make this series worth showing to my friends, I think.
