I hate to tell you something but my opinion of qaqa's opinion is very valid and does not require YOUR validation or approval to be in this thread, Acora. I thought this video was okay, except for the obviously restaged photo, unless that can be exp- WAIT.

If Slendy cultists are trying to become Slendy, they might be using fancy-shmancy techniques to try and gain Slendy powers. Maybe he didn't show up on the video camera for some mystical reason, but showed up on the camera phone because he's stupid or something. Just a quick thought. Spoilered for stupidity.


But other than that, this video seemed kinda like filler. If they made more videos more often, I would be able to like this one a lot more. But at the rate of production, I'm expecting just a smidgen more thrilling. Not saying I'm disappointed by any means, I mean people have lives outside the internet. Or, at least that's what I hear.

 		I'll disagree. I didn't find it to be filler - by that standard, i.e. a well-executed scare of a different stripe where precious little new information is gleaned, most of MH or TT could be called 'filler,' except I don't think they are and I think the definition would be unfair. I think they simply did a good, scary vignette with good character work. After what they've been doing since Log 11 or so, I didn't need them to reinvent the wheel this time out.

I will say what I forgot to mention before - the asbestos face masks, whether intentional or unintentional, seemed to me like a very creepy visual echo of the various series minions like Kinder Von etc. The three guys all began to look anonymous and identical a la the cultists.

 		Damn! I almost forgot to mention character development I really did like this entry for that.
And when I say "filler" I mean there wasn't much plot advancment is all. I really should have used a better word. And there might be plot advancement if we would analyze those diagrams a little more (instead of bitching about other people who we think are bitching.)

You are absolutely right about the names thing, and I regret resorting to using terms like that (as they diminished my actual point).
While it may not seem so, I really do enjoy the majority of qaqa's posts (and yours Acora) it just grates my nerves sometimes when I come in here to read up on DH, TT, and even MDJ and have to wade through intellectual masturbation/opinionated garbage... and yes "name calling" -which I do wonder about; how does qaqa make remarks like gathering of juggalos and kinder von schnapps and this isn't considered silly "name-calling"? Just curious.

The only reason I really jumped down your throat about it was because you were blatantly insulting another member of the forum. I'm not trying to be all PC about it, and I honestly don't really know qaqa that well, but it kinda pisses me off when people do that crap. That's part of the reason I attempted to stay out of the whole equal opposite shit, but that's not the point. I didn't take offense at qaqa because he was poking fun at the series itself, which we all do (I mean, damn, Nimbus has probably been the butt of more jokes here then most anyone, unless Troy has an account), while your posts were blatantly conflictual. Well we both understand what its like to be pissed off at someone else's perceived drama then it would seem. You don't have to worry about being PC towards me in the slightest, in case you haven't noticed I am always ready get up in your face and argue, anytime, anyone, anyplace. Hell I respect you more for at least having the guts to discuss the pissyness...unlike some posters who hide behind snark.
The last thing I'll say on this subject is "name calling" for whatever reason is the same whether you see it as silly and fun or I see it as an insult. It is what it is and qaqa has no more right to do it than I do (or you). I'll keep a better grip on my big words from now on out of respect for you and Carn at the least.

There's no need to apologize but I'll accept it with thanks and say the same for jumping down your throat as well. If we "cross streams" ( Laughing ) here in the future let it be over intellectual points instead of lolraging, what do you say? (Hey bright side; we beefed up DH's thread)
