I'm stoked for DH's return. Tharol is 100% right that they do a lot of their best work in the snow, and I thought this log entry was a really great idea for introducing a new character whilst simultaneously reminding viewers about a plot thread most of us have probably forgotten about (I had) and introducing a new lead.

Oh wow, pretty good video! Perhaps the grandfather was taken by Slendy? Either that or he went in to hiding from Slendy, which would make sense since he did gave away the chest before he disappeared. I wonder what else that girl knows about Slendy, and what were the stories that her grandfather told her.

Like new video Chris with Alex make another video. By the way best line caught out context very funny they said "Heather she is the girl the one I had talked about her chest." I liked all the fun banter. Does Heather know some other girl named Jessica could be. So any news from KVD our friend making codes.

Good to see they're uploading again. Been scanning the backgrounds for Slender Man. Though I will say I haven't entirely forgiven them for Snowman Slendy and their awkward recovery from it.

Edit: So.... going from the interview, the chest was passed down from family member to family member, but not permitted to be opened. The grandfather told the girl stories of The Slender Man. And most odd of all, had decelerated aging? The girl said he was 80 when he disappeared, but looked only 40.

Maybe the grandfather is a founder of the Kind Von Der Ritter cult, and something about The Slender Man has the power to slow aging, or even grant something close to immortality, perhaps at the cost of sanity or mental stability. The cult could simply be her family, protecting their secret, acting as or seeking to be the children of The Slender Man. This is certainly getting interesting...

Hey... was Jesse supposed to go with them too? They never acknowledged he was there, and Jesse never said anything to them either. I just found that to be odd.

Is Jesse the guy in the black hoody? Someone--actually, looked like two people in the parking lot--seemed to follow them in the gold car, and then into Starbucks. I'm assuming it's the same person in the black hoody who sits behind them (to the left of the screen). The camera moves to the right slightly when it cuts out, so we can't see if/when the person leaves. My first instinct says the hooded character possibly stopped time, causing the blackout, but that's a wild guess, really.

Yeah, that was Jesse in Starbucks. I think they had him there with them because frankly, I wouldn't take risks if I were them.
