I'm sorry, but I think that way Slendy moved was fantastic. Like someone else said, very silent hill, and VERY unnerving.

Probably the most creeped out I've been from Slendy in over a year.

I personally loved Slendy's jittery movements. They reinforce his inhumanity and biological wrongness. One of my favorite live action appearances, no joke.

I will grant you that the way Slendy moved in this entry was really creepy. I saw it start moving and I was horrified and my sense of orderly reality was insulted.

Now, though, I have to get contentious.

I could TOTES go with the "Slenderman isn't from our dimension and doesn't know how to move properly cause he isn't really human" theory, if it weren't for the fact that earlier in the series, we've seen Slenderman moving totally normally.

I don't remember the entry, but there's one earlier in the series where they're walking through the woods, and you see Slenderman step out from behind some bushes and confront them, and he moves completely normally.

Also, just a couple entries before, when they're filming themselves talking in the car at a train station, Slendy steps down off the train and watches them, again completely normally.

So yes, absolutely, the way he moves was horrifically creepy and freaky, and gave me chills, and yes, it made me dwell on it afterward, and throughout my overnight job, and I would totally be on the side of "OH MY GOD THAT WAS TEH AWSUM EFFEX EVAR AND I LUVD IT SO MUHC!!!1!"... if only they had put more work into making the costume not look so obviously like a costume.

Marble Hornets (which for my money is MUCH better than Dark Harvest) has the same problem with their Slenderman, too. In the beginning, it looked kind of awesome, and then they got the new one that showed up in Entry 43, and it just looked terrible and ridiculous.

So, that's my thoughts on that. Feel free to flame me, but it's my opinion.

Alright, I stand corrected.
Watching the train entry, the guy steps down off the train, wearing a black suit, white shirt and tie, and then seems to just stand there, and when the camera comes back, he's gone.
I apologize for my misconception and thanks for the correction.

MH hasn't changed the Operator at all? I thought I read somewhere that they had. <s>Corroborating that</s>

Never mind, I thought I would point to some of the earlier entries where you look at The Operator, and he looks totally different, but now that I re-watch those carefully, yeah, it's the same model type.

Wow. Thank you. I will now make less of a fool of myself than I normally would have in conversation with my friends, none of whom even KNOW about Marble Hornets (or refuse to watch it because they don't like the idea of not sleeping because their bed is next to a window).
