I think the cultist was probably dead before hitting the car...
It seems whenever slendy does a major manifestation, he goes through the cultists like a stoner through a bag of Doritos.

After all, didn't a bunch of cultists die when he appeared near the school during that storm?

I'm willing to bet the cultists weren't chasing Noah, but running from Slendy... they all seemed to disappear right before the one landed on the car. I liked the fact that they were quizzing Noah about Slenderman... it makes me wonder if some of them are starting to feel a little nervous about their own safety, especially if you are a lower-level follower without the perks of eternal youth and being able to screw around with time.

That's unlikely... didn't we hear the cultist scream as he fell onto the car?

Huh. That would be a cool way of turning the tables.

Hey, I'm going on an Archive run of the show, ever since "The Order"

So this has probably been said before.

Well, remember this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_gjLvw2iQ0&feature=relmfu

Around 6:10, when Alex and Chris, I think, are arguing in front of the mural when the camera pans to Alex, pause, and look at the window next to him.

We see an Overseer, as they're called, right?

I've also been going back through the series. Turns out one of KindVonDerRitter's videos has been set to private (the one where he announced the coming of the "First Dusk", I believe). Makes me wonder if that whole idea has been dropped, since we haven't heard of these cycles since last spring and his blog has essentially been forgotten.

For that matter, we haven't seen KVDR since last August, when he fell in the woods. The next video mentions finding a pool of blood in that spot later, but he's uploaded videos since then so...

Thanks to the crossover with TribeTwelve, I just got in to the series and watched the entire thing this weekend. I haven't watched anything outside of the main channel, and I gotta say that I'm really impressed with how well the story's holding up.

I noticed that when they discovered Greg's tapes, Greg's camera wasn't with them. I'm guessing that the camera, along with the final tape, is in the possession of the cult, the footage on that last tape is actually my_final_betrayal, and that Greg is the one who gets killed. I'm sure a lot of people have said this already, but there's no way that I'm going back through this whole topic.

my_final_betrayal really hasn't been explained at all, as of yet. It's possible that the sacrifice was Greg, but it was released several months after his death, so it could also show a different member of the Order being killed the same way that Greg was. Around the time that Greg died, KindVonDerRitter mentioned something about a sacrifice and he's the one who went the video to Alex, so it could very well be him dying in the video.

But the cameraman is likely KindVonDerRitter, since time stops partway through the video, just like it did in one of the videos he uploaded to his own channel ("Trauen"). It could be that he froze time, chose Greg as a sacrifice, and then had the other cultists kill him after time resumed.

Hm, interesting entry. I did feel like it was very suspenseful, but it was defintely filler. Not much plot advancement. Or maybe I just didn't recognize it, I don't know, I need to rewatch the series as a whole.

Why would you consider this "filler"? It's the culmination(at least start of) of the whole "how are we going to deal with Jesse" thing. And we've finally got some action in that direction.

Now, granted, I could see the argument that, by the end of the entry, the characters haven't gained any new information, per se (and thus, it is "filler"). But we did see, yeah, dealing with Jesse is not going to be an easy task (he certainly saw past their kidnapping attempt).

I really enjoyed the entry and, hey, more cult stuff is great by me. I'm hoping we get to see some of the ramifications of the crossover play out here; that is, we see the results of, presumably, the elimination of a significant portion of the Order's members and what effect that has on the actions of the group.

It's hard to say where they're gonna go from here (as clearly taking the offensive didn't go too well). Perhaps Daniel will overturn some new information? Regardless, I think it's relatively safe we have a lot to look forward to coming up. Keep doing the good work, DH.
