 		Yep, and a quick update for those not following me on twitter - the last batch of pkgs (save the posters) were mailed recently (late, I know), so should arrive any day now. it's been a very tight start to 2011 Confused

Conan, I'm glad I didn't win that (fake) contest and have to go through what you are going through. It all seemed wierd, like we were just SPAM bait. I hope you really do finally wind up with something. I've got an extra FL pin or 89 sticker if you want it, free of charge, just PM me... Good Luck!

I wouldn't necessarily call it SPAM bait, he signed up last July and posted here many times before the "contest" he ran. Why he never completed it who knows but I'm sure somebody here has contact info for him since you need an e mail address to sign up and he did win an EOLC coaster in 1 of the contests.

 		I can only imagine what kind of vitriol landed in their PM Inbox right after the giveaway; But, it must've been bad as they haven't had a thing to do with us at all, since them.

Can't say I blame them for not wanting anything to do with us.
As creative as the rules for the contest turned-out to be, I'm thinking that flexibility extends to justifying not following-through on their commitment.

It's a shame conan had to pay the price for the behavior of a small bunch of other folks. Reminds me of how things work here in California. Like mlinsley, people feel entitled to my money /stuff and like conan, I can't own a detachable 30-round magazine.

Thanks for the offer, render! I think I'll let you keep your hard-earned swag though.

I really hope there wasn't too much spite put into mlinsley's way after the contest. It was very fun, and though it is a letdown that I wasn't able to set up another contest to distribute the rest of the swag, I'm pretty content.

All my PMs to him after he disappeared have been the same. I hope he's alright and that nothing significantly bad isn't happening in his life for him not to come back around. Of course, a lot of people are dropping off because Flynn Lives is dormant, so I hope it is only that.

Just a "yo, what's up?" would be cool to hear from mlinsley, y'know?
