Obviously lol. This guy doesn't even realize that the guy who plays Scarecrow in Batman Begins AND The Dark Knight plays Dillinger Jr. No, no, he only "...rather looks like the guy..." This guy is not a good reviewer of films. I can tell from this one review that he's out of his element (catch the reference?). I nearly choked on my stale corn chips laughing at this guy! What a character! And two webcams? for what, is he gonna do a review in 3D!? And what on earth is he doing reviewing movie trailers? Okay, let me stop. I have to finish watching this farce.

EDIT: AHHHAHAAAAAAHAHAHA "...put him to work..."

EDIT: I got so fed up, that I posted a comment. You may go and read it if you wish.

EDIT: I got like 36 mins through and had to skip through the rest. I can't believe he didn't mention the character Tron or Rinzler, except for mentioning how he fights in the first movie.

Five bucks says he still lives with his parents.
Gotta say, though... For what I could watch; His staccato ADD rants included the lion's share of snarky '60s sitcom cliches.

His reviews are all this way, they are hillarious but most of them are hardcore fanboy spaz out. But I digress, the screwed up thing? He was a professional reviewer for some local network apparently.

Just heard an interesting idea that probably would have made the ending that much more epic...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If when Tron came to his senses saying "I fight for the users!" - the helmet retracted and showed Bruce Boxleitner's (young) face!

Seems maybe a little impractical given his current..situation, but man that would have changed the feel of the rest of the film, and definitely given more meaning to the actual title of the film.

But perhaps it would taken too much away from the next film? dunno. don't care. That would have been game changer I think Smile

Only if he had some obvious damage/alteration (digital scar, part of head missing, etc). I'm thinking that he still was almost killed, and Clu used some ISO code to repair him. There was quite the digital yelp during the cutaway as Clu brought his disc down.

I did feel that Tron's fall was a big emotional aspect that should have been played up more. Also, getting all plot nerdy...since he was a security program, it would be plausible that while Clu could try and override his programming, Alan may have made him as incorruptible as possible, due to his intended role. Very little code is written as tight, as difficult to compromise, and as bulletproof as security code. By definition, it has to be a cut above, or it's the weak point on a system.

That's actually why I think Clu 2 was looking for/expectecting Alan rather than Sam. As part of corrupting him, he may have damaged Tron's face, as well as his voice. Which would explain why he mostly just makes growling noises.

I mentioned elsewhere, but that noise from Rinzler more often sounds like a data handshake, like a mode/fax machine exchange information. As if there's some controlling code overriding base functions and whatnot... it's a nice touch. =)

Actually, that is exactly what I was expecting to happen, and was my biggest disappointment of the film when it didn't happen.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They already took the time to make a young Bruce Boxleitner in the flashback sequence, I figured a big reveal of Rinzler to Tron was a no brainer.

But if that is my biggest complaint, then it must mean I enjoyed the film.

Except that to me, Tron looked like a complete stranger in that memory flashback, and nothing like Bruce.
..which would be one of my biggest disappointments in the film Smile

I have a feeling the reason they did not do it in this movie was that there might be some element in the second film.

Actually, I think the reason he had to stop was the heart condition. But knowing this, I am really wanting to see his meds fail him on camera. Twisted Evil

Here, at last, was the result of all the hard work, massive computing resources and money spent on bringing the Tron universe to a new generation. I walked in, expecting to be blown away both from what I'd seen before and from what I knew about the production.

I was not disappointed.

Tron Guy wasn't allowed to see it in costume

Oh, perhaps someone here can answer this.

Is this supposed to be Clu?

Or was it a character that was cut from the final draft of the movie? I think I saw a poster with him in it, which made me think "Virus" and so forth.
