It sounds a bit like "Hello Jay" to me. It's kind of hard to make out, but it sounds a bit more humanly.

Going on what someone said earlier, about Slendy trying to keep Jay away from whatever is wounded/injured: what if Slendy is a protector instead of malicious like everyone automatically jumped to? Someone hinted at this a few pages back but didn't elaborate. It could make sense. The "unless I've done something that I don't know about" foreshadowing, the fact that the only recorded footage of the bloody tunnel and bloody cloth that Jay has (as far as we know) only see him looking at it and freaking out...I dunno, guys. It's plausible.
I don't think that Slendy is benevolent in the least. If he was, he wouldn't be having so many detrimental effects on the health of the people he stalks (memory loss, coughing, ect), and he definitely wouldn't have done whatever he did in Entry 14.

But it's only theory (albeit a pretty compelling one) that it's Slendy causing the ill health anyway. I've wondered on a few occasions if maybe SM is completely neutral. I mean, obviously he's part of what's going on, but maybe he's only present. We've never seen him do anything but hang around and look creepy.

^this is exactly what I was thinking. You never see him actually INJURING anybody. Just people looking weird/hurt/tranced out while he's around. There's only speculation as to what he actually does or if he actually causes this. Slendy sickness was only a theory and it was used a lot and is very realistic, but maybe it's not real. Or maybe it is real, and he can't help it? I dunno. I'm really digging this protection thing. It's totally out of left field.

Maybe it's backwards and he appears to those who are getting this sickness (sometimes), also, cameras for some reason? No, I don't think that follows.

especially alex in the final of S1

Maybe not chasing and stalking, but following and trying to warn? Amy was scared in the final, but Alex wasn't. Remember that.

Although he did tell her to run, but he sounded way too calm.

I dunno, it was just something new to talk about.

We just assume he's stalking and chasing. He could just be curious and harmless.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think that's the case. But if you look purely at the facts then it's a possibility, so even if no one really thinks that's what's going on, it's still worth discussing.

Entry #14 anyone? I don't think we have any reason to believe the Operator is harmless. Blood. On. Face.

Just saying.

Why would you think Slendy caused this?

Alex gets up mere seconds after the Operator creeps off-camera, and his face is already covered in blood. There's no cut in the footage. It's perfectly reasonable that his face was already like that for some other reason.

I don't buy the idea myself, but it's there.

Is there a typo, or did someone post a freeze-frame of Alex already having blood on his face? I'm having trouble following the conclusions as well.

Fun fact: I typed Tim instead of Alex by mistake at first. That's what I get for playing Braid recently.

I think I might of been the one who mentioned the "Friendly Slendy" idea earlier.

For one; he's an Be-tentacled, Faceless Eldrich Horror, I'm pretty sure he can work however the fuck he likes. My view is that Maskys are pretty much his servant, perhaps not a friend but he doesn't want them hurt cuz it must take a little bit of effort to make one (or there'd be a whole squad of them) so if Jay was on the verge of control (or under control) would he not want to make sure he was okay?

And it would explain the voice, why have we not heard the voice before? Maybe Slendy and Maskys have some sort of mind link and the camera picks it up through some sort of interference ?

What I mean is it seems pointless for Slendy, who we've never seen "doing anything" prior to that (and won't until #26) would sneak into Alex's room just to give him some sort of superficial cut on his forehead.

I think any other explanation (he did it himself knowingly or not, Masky did it, it was an accident, etc) is more likely than Slendy just screwin with him.

I honestly don't think that hand-shape is a hand, though at first it did and while scrubbing through, I seriously had an OMG moment. But it morphs to and from different, more fabricky shapes as you scrub, so it's probably incidental. Cool, though.

I found a body like shape in the second photo.

Typo? Whuh? Confused

There's a screenshot of the blood in one of the enormous general discussion threads that are stickied and locked. I can't really get a clear shot myself, but you can see the blood if you watch Alex's face very closely as he stands up and when he turns around. The conclusion drawn can be either that the Operator hurt Alex VERY quickly and vanished immediately afterwards, or that the blood was already there and the Operator's presence is just a red herring.

All of this is fairly off-topic though. Razz

I'm going to have to see more of the new Operator model before I can decide if I like it.

Going from what we saw here, this is all I can think about

Honestly, while I completely understand the theory that Slender Man isn't evil, it just doesn't feel right to me. I don't know, his whole creepiness thing doesn't give a 'good guy' vibe to me.

Besides, even if we spend forever debunking every solid reason we have for believing that Slender Man is evil, we're still missing one thing. There is no evidence supporting Slender Man being good.
