 		Yeah, because Jay has always done what was the smartest in the past. Like that time he decided the best time to visit a creepy old abandoned house in search of a friend who may have been murdered was in the middle of the night with a crappy flashlight.

Or that time he returned even though he had a freakish coughing fit that was recorded and posted by a freakish coded stalker.

Or that time he returned again after being attacked, memory wiped, and robbed of his weapon.

Jay always makes the wisest decisions.

All things that support my reasoning that J hid this file, then named it no entry, thinking oh, maybe if I wake up with a wiped memory, this will kickstart it into me remembering NOT to post it.

Hmm... that's actually a pretty novel idea. It's definitely plausible, although it would mean that Troy and Joe would be taking the Slendy mythos in a very different direction (or possibly taking advantage of some of the gaps maybe?). From what I gathered spending (way too much) time reading through the original SA thread, Slenderman is definitely malignant, and definitely towards small children, but maybe there's something I'm/we're missing.

Considering the mythos further (OT a bit), I wonder what it is that makes the Operator visible to the MH cast. Unless they only see him when he's on-camera through the view finder, it's been a curiosity of mine since I started watching/reading. *shrug* Either way, it doesn't really kill the immersion for me, just something I wasn't sure about (maybe there's an explanation out there).


In Entry #12, other people besides the camerawoman talk about the "man" (Operator) in the distance, so you can see him without a camera.

 		I am to the persuasion that noentry means something else (no entry to the ark perhaps?) if he was trying to stop himself from posting I think he would have said something like "DoNotPost" not Noentry. Seems too cryptic for me to believe it's just Don't Post it!

Another question! If the only way to rid one's self of the Operator is destruction/ separating yourself from the collected footage, than what has he done by posting it online, on his own profile? Would that mean that the only way to stop Operator is to delete all of the footage from YouTube

Following a theory I have that slendy is an Alex-specific phenomena, I'm going to guess that theyve found eachother.. And in turn, slendy has found them.

But of course, they dont remember. Weird that it's in jay's hard drive though, meaning that it rules out being one of alex's tapes from Marble Hornets..

My guess is that it's from the 7 months jay doesn't remember.

Or it's a present from Masky/TTA.

Why would Jay have the video file on his laptop at all, if it isn't supposed to be an entry? Someone put the effort into uploading it from the cameras and editing the footage together - I'm wondering what that video is supposed to be for (if not for YouTube).

(Crazy speculation ahead)

One possibility for "noentry": it could be acting as a form of protection for the laptop and its files (as in "no entry into this machine", like a firewall). Jay hasn't complained about his laptop at all, he just woke up after seven months and it was there in his room. No one had hacked it or deleted anything. The file could be acting as a sort of lightning rod, redirecting any attacks on the laptop onto itself in the form of audio/video distortion.

I actually really like that idea. I don't know why, but it seems very plausible to me.

Actually I got it from an Asian store. It's supposed to keep out diseases or something. I just thought it made me look like a surgeon. An AWESOME surgeon.
