Today is the winter solstice, not yesterday. However, total lunar eclipse thing is coolio truelio.

Oops, got my date wrong. The eclipse did go on past midnight though, so I think it still technically counts as happening on the solstice.

Just realized, 21 was posted this day last year...
And we had the Winter Solstice Twitter Watch thing, but with that whole thing all we got out of it was a metal suitcase for that entry. Albeit, the next one was awesome possum, we still didn't get any action that time. So lets hope thats not a trend following this time.

I heard about this whole thing last year but never got around to catching up until today. I wasn't digging it at first, but once I found the wiki and started watching along with the Twitter account and the responses I started to really get into it. Very Happy

Can't wait for 30... it'll be interesting to follow this along in real-time now.

Just don't fuck up, kid.

Because he's not in the kitchen.

What is a Slender Man? A miserable little pile of secrets!

Guess

Considering he said "Some weird things happened last night" leads me to believe that it isn't any lost footage, unless of course something weird happened that introduced him to more footage. I just hope they don't introduce another character, we still don't know much about the characters from season 1.

Anyways my guess is that he attempts to flee the hotel, gets into some slendanigans, and wakes back up in his room. Probably with some sort of clue nearby, we all know slendy too well.

Good point, but I have yet to see one sammich in the entire series. So either slendy is a dude, or a procrastinating butch.

Really? Can this not be put in the off-topic thread?

I love a joke as much as the next guy, but seriously? This is for speculation.

Back on topic, what sort of things happened during the solstice last year? I was not yet part of the game, and the fact that the solstice was significant was lost to me.

As far as I can tell there was no real significance to it... but why not start now? especially with the eclipse... I think if this was about the solstice/eclipse it would have more to do with the eclipse... I havent seen anything that really relates to the solstice

btw solstice is just a badass word isnt it?

Oh hey, yeah, forgot about this for a second there.... Anyways, The solstice was when Jay went to the red tower to get that brief case. And all over twitter he was posting shitz like "almost dar gais!" I'm paraphrasing of course. But yeah, I wonder if it was a coincidence that they posted an entry on the winter solstice twice now...

When you guys say "briefcase", are you referring to the little metal box he found with the tape in it? I was a little confused when I read that.

Edit: As far as speculation goes, does anyone else get really sketched out by Jessica? I feel like she might be some kind of puppet to spy on Jay and that maybe there is some crazy Masky and/or Slendy-related operation going on next door. All sorts of bumps and knocks going on next store with the typical high-pitched distortion on camera.

Maybe Masky is uh... consummating a relationship with Jessica in there.
