When do we enter the code??

Hopefully RP will send out a tweet when they activate RP.com to accept our codes. I know they tweeted when the site opened for registration. It would make sense for them to do the same now.

Also RP.com opened 13 days after the first letter was received. My guess is it will be activated Jan 3rd. </spec>

2 Certificates

I just got my certificate yesterday!! I got 2, probably because I registered multiple times when RP.com first when up. I thought something was wrong because it kept rejecting my account, but it turns out that was normal. I also got the letter sent out before this one and sent the STIES print out back in with my Astronaut name, address, and maze filled out, so that may also be a reason why I got 2.

115 Astro Cordian - Sonic Strength Fleet - Lime ***
174 Astro McCordian - Twin Teamwork Fleet - I haven't opened this one because I want to save it for when I get old and show it to my kids!! Very Happy I looked through to the paper by holding it up to the light.

I also think you rank depends on whether or not you registered online or by mail and completed the maze, and what your written answers were at the end of the questionnaire. Does anybody remember what they wrote? I don't lol!

think we could start threads for each fleet and if you're on that fleet, sign in with your number/astronaut name.

maybe there is something to the numbers that decide where and how we were ranked…

I've already started a Twin Teamwork thread, and have seen another one for "Super SpeedFlier Fleet - Orange".

lets get organized!

Congratulations!!!
LUNA LOVEGOOD
You have been accepted into the Rocket Poppeteers Astronaut Training Program, Fleet Designation:
BRAIN BLAST FLEET.

Brain Blast Fleet:
CHERRY

Oh God, this could be the start of so many sex jokes.

ETA: Anybody know where to put the identification code? I went back through the thread and nobody mentioned it. The "Poppeteers Pride" section looks promising, but I still can't enter anything.

Sorry for the double post but, it should be noted that Identification is spelled wrong on the certificate. It's missing an i after the f. (Indentifcation)

Thoughts?

Good eye, I didn't even notice it until you said something. It's an easy thing to miss, but I wonder if it's on purpose. A missing "i" doesn't seem like it would hold any merit as some kind of clue or anything.. Hmm..you'd think with all the certificates that were being mailed they would've double-checked for typos. Confused

Nice name, Oriza. XD And we're speculating that we won't be able to input our codes until that part of the site becomes available after all the letters are sent.

Just Got Mine

I just received mine today (central Illinois) and started the Brain Blast Fleet topic. Also, my number was 203. I'm guessing this is probably the order of distribution.

Thoughts?

Mobwars;

As far as thoughts on the missing "i" I think they made another mistake;
they should have put you on the Brain Boost squad, or at least bump you up now!

And, Melodyman, I really feel bummed for you not even getting the first letter when you've been all over this from the beginning.

I know you and I live on the left coast, and none of my roomies have received certificates yet. Has anyone on the leftcoast rec'd one? And how many who rec'd the original letter have rec'd a certificate?

Training recruit Burn28 of Brain Blast Fleet Cherry checking in. 4 Star rank, not bad } : >
Just got my recruitment material today (way back when, I was the first to post on receipt of the original snailmail letter from Rocket Poppeteers). This time looks like I'm number 235

[edit]
Looking over the certificate/mailing, no watermarks this time. The only thing of note is there looks to be some kind of ink stamp that is cut off along one edge of the cardboard piece in the envelope. Possibly 2 cut off numbers, but not enough to tell for sure.

God I hope they don't ask how many stars are on this one , the possible variations last time were bad enough, but the background stars on the border of the certificate are 10 times worse.
