lol, it depends on who Jessica is as a person. I'd be out of there, finding somewhere else to stay. If Jessica is an SM stalked victim then......huhm......I think I'd still get out of there as quickly as possible....on the other hand, if there's something in the hotel keeping away slendy/ masky........I...have no idea.

could work, we've seen, what, three mask variations? Our original, the slightly different one, and skully.

Uh, there's just been Masky and Skully. What are you talking about?

I took a break during the interval between seasons, but I distinctly recall the discussing that the eyes and eyebrows were different in one of the videos.
Of course, that could just be the cast buying more than one mask incase one was damaged, I imagine it's incredibly difficult too perfectly recreate a mask like that, as evidenced by the fanart thread.

Too bad we still can't find a use for half of the things we learn there, in real life. Like when will we ever get a chance to nuke an asteroid?

Alright. I accept destroying Slender Man may be an impossibility with the current level of information. But seriously, do any of us deny J demonstrates an almost comical lack of genre saviness? Am I the only one who smacked himself on the forehead when you read he was going out to that same tunnel in entry #29?
I swear, J must have created that stereotype of the black family shouting at the cinema screen, because, even though I'm white, I'm practivally screaming 'In the name of all that's holy: Don't go in there!!'
To be honest, it only seems Alex has picked up on any of this and learned from it.
He learned no, it's not a good idea to play around with the evil camera with the footage of the ultra-powerful superbeing on it.
And he learned no, if said being happens to turn up again, you don't freak out and run deeper into the house, shaking the camera like a poor imitation of the blair witch project... You keep it trained on the bastard, and back out into the street with the your witness and in full view of the public. From this we learned something very important. If Slendy really was a god-like being then nothing was stopping him from lunging after them and killing them both...but no... He stopped... At the end of the hallway, frozen and not following. This implies he has limits and is not nearly as omnipotent as some like to say, else he would have caught the pair instantaniously before they had time to react. This demonstrates Slendy has limitations, and I personally feel Alex knows what some of them are, hence how calm and unparanoid he was. His attitude wasnt that of a crazy paranoid man jumping at at a shadow. It was akin to an Australian discovering a poisenous spider in his bathroom and knowing how to deal with one a hundred times over.

Jay is the epitome of the horror movie don't-go-in-there character.

Has to go back to the house...
Has to go back to the tunnel...

This guy is cruising for a Slendybruising.

But we should be happy for it, I guess. It would be an awfully short game if Jay threw up his hands at the first glimpse of creeping baldness on Entry 1 and gtfo'd the whole situation.

I still maintain it would be a crowning moment of awesome if he tried to go all Ripley on Slender Man. Pulled out an M-16 and started raining bullets into him. Then ran off, camera shaking, gasping for breath.

"Ah..Well...That didn't work..."

At least you'd KNOW!!

yah know, bullets may not kill slendy, but they'll probably kill Masky if he shows up again.

Forgive the grade one noobishness of this question, but Slender Man and The Operator are (suppodedly) the same person right? I am right in thinking it's just a different name for each?

Okay, in all this discussion has no one thought about how fishy jay sounds?

jessica asks him why he's buying groceries and he then proceeds to say his house is being renovated, he originally had the story of filming a documentary. He needs to stick to one story or jessica is gonna get really paranoid about being around him, and that will oh MY GOD

her figuring out he's telling lies is going to be the crux of the whole series and their eventual team up!

she'll be like WTF YOU SAW TEH SLENDEMANZ TOO!?!?!?!? and he'll be like "yup.....wanna go check out this freaky as hell tunnel with me?! Very Happy"

Dude... have you ever watched porn? Men have been objectified at least as long as there's been porn. The focus is totally always on the chick, you could put a strap-on on a mannequin and call out the guy, and no one would notice. Dudes are like... meat-puppets in porn.
Congratulations, you have found one small area in which men might arguably have been objectified in the past.

That doesn't change the fact that until comparatively recently in our society women have been objectified and sidelined in almost every activity you could care to name, and those few which were considered a suitable field for women were considered to be of lesser import than "men's business".

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but since he lives in Alabama can't he buy a gun a shoot SlenderMan to kingdom kung?(I looked up the gun laws and it seems that you don't need a permit for one)

didn't see a response to this, but I live in TExas, wher the guns laws are pretty much the same, and yah, the only permit you need is a concealed carry, but he doesn't live there, and they'd probably check, but if he really wanted to he could find a gun
