 		Naw, the money issue isn't being ignored. There's just no solid evidence, in any direction, as to where Jay is getting all of his money.

 		Not to mention there's no real point into pursuing why J has the money he does. Will that make a difference in the grand scheme of things? From what I've seen so far, it doesn't matter.

She may have ran into Jay over the 7 month period and interacted with him thus drawing the attention of the Operator. Interaction with the Operator destroys a persons ability to recall certain events. However, as shown from previous examples, if there is some other means to act as a recall (video footage), the person can remember some of the events.

Additionally, previous examples have shown that for an extended period of time not all memories are "erased". Jay was able to remember location scouting and helping out during some of the shooting (Entries 5 and 13). Although, a better example is Tim. In Entry 15, Tim brings up the change in Alex's behavior, dead animals in front of Brian's house, and shooting conditions. This means that if Jessica interacted with Jay over the 7 month gap, she may have some lingering memory of him. More than likely, his name acted as a vague recall mechanism.

Given the above points, the fact that Jay lost 7 full months of memories is quite irregular. However, we don't have enough evidence to determine the effects on a person's memory in the later stages of slendersickness. It is possible a couple month blackout is normal during the later stages.

 		I'm only 29 and have enough money saved up to be able to live reasonably comfortably in a hotel for a while if shit hit the fan with my life like it did with Jay.

It would eventually bleed me broke, but it's entirely possible.

 		Also, maybe he has some sort of awfully stupid way of making money, like maybe before he bought those groceries he gave plasma. College students do it all the time! He might be supplementing some kind of savings with that, or something.

There are many perfectly feasible explanations, and I don't think that anything important will come of us dwelling on this instead of, say, where the location might be, or what the safe code is, or what's going on with Jess, or where TTA has been since, what, February?

Heck, I'd prefer some of the speculations that annoy me over this, like who Skully is or whether the Operator is evil or not.

I have a great mental image of Jay shilling his Ten Step Money Saving Program.

And what I meant by ignoring the money issue was that it wasn't important. Though agreed on the total irrelevance of it.
