whatever that white thing to the right of jessica's head is around 2:30, it startled me badly enough that i finally felt the need to register.

I haven't caught up with the speculation surrounding Jessica or the new season in general, so forgive me if I'm repeating someone else's ideas.

Maybe Jessica is the new totheark. Perhaps she lived with Tim at some point, she might be a blood relation, even. Whether or not they were romantically involved isn't that important though, just that they were roommates while Tim was totheark. Maybe she noticed his erratic behavior and was worried (and perhaps during this time, she heard Jay's name being mentioned by Tim, or saw a picture or video of Jay and thats why she recognized him), and a confrontation between the two likely ensued, ending with her being kicked out like she said.

For whatever reason, The Operator decides to discard Tim (one way or another dum-dum-dumm) and is now fashioning Jessica to be his new "apprentice." I don't think Jessica is consciously malevolent towards Jay right now, but the Operator is beginning to plant seeds in her mind to begin the cycle anew.

HOW DOES IT FEEL, JAY, TO HAVE SOMEONE KEEP STUFF FROM YOU. The tables have been turned, oh ho ho ho.

Anyway, yeah. Everyone's alignments are so confusing here. I can't even predict if Jessica's on Jay's side or not, she's more confusing than TTA. (Who I miss, by the way. Marble Hornets is slowly becoming less and less terrifying without him.)

Jessica's terrible acting aside, I am on the side that she was trying to keep Jay from looking into her room. She seems almost like a female version of Jay, haha. Slenderstalked and awkward around other human beings. Makes you wonder, though, why she keeps trying to strike up conversation with him. Beyond the fact that he's the only other person in the hotel.
On that note, what the heck is she DOING in there to cause all that banging? Building the damn Ark herself?

Not gonna lie, the first time I heard the banging it reminded me of Ju-On 2. One of the main characters kept hearing banging on her wall, then later she found out it was someone's hanged swigging corpse hitting her wall...yeah
