If it was a spare key to Alex's apartment, I honestly can't tell if it would infuriate me or make me so happy I'd cry with laughter.

I can just imagine the scene now:

Jay: And what the hell is this key for! And why did I have an identical one in my bag?!
Alex: Jay calm down! It's not what you think!
Jay: WHAT IS IT ALEX!
Alex: It's a spare key to my house! I was going to invite you to stay here because I thought it was safer than on the road!
Jay: ...

*Comedy mwah mwah mwah mwahhaahhh*

I highly doubt it was the key to his house or something, though. For one, they wouldn't place that much importance on the key in Entry 27 and this one only to have it lead to Alex again. I'm almost positive it has something to do with Jessica.

You DO know the key he found in this entry is the same exact key as the one in his bag? It wasn't a copy or identical one.

However, it's pretty damn funny. ;P

It undoubtedly will be brought up soon, or it will not be brought up at all. Depends on if Troseph think it's a good enough plot device to use, instead of something to be neglected, like the bullet casing.

This one will probably play out, Troseph obviously thought out this season better that the last, so they wouldn't introduce something like the bullet casing again.

I always thought that that was a red herring, but now that I think about the logistics of it, who would carry a gun? Maybe it was Alex trying to use a firearm to defend himself against the Operator, or maybe even Brian?

I like the defending himself idea, tried using firepower, but it didn't workout so well.

He won't know that yet Wink So technically, he did find an identical one in his bag Razz But actually, I didn't know it was the same one. I just thought it was similar.

Well if anyone ends up with a shirt off don't forget to pause and look for old bullet wounds.
