Though it's an amazing prospect and certainly pushes our expectations out of the box, I really hope it's not. Like I said earlier, if #49 is the end of the season, I'm somewhat disappointed. It wasn't that scary to me, and there wasn't a game changing turn of events, in my opinion. The end of season 1 was far more freaky.

So we found out Alex is a murderer and Slendy takes the victim(s). To those who weren't expecting it, I'm sure that's terrifying. Those of us who were guessing it all along, though...


At the end of season 1, enough unexpected things happened that led me to freak out, no matter what I was expecting, and it provided me with clues and confirmations that helped build theories. Also, the cliffhanger provided some context for reasons behind the 7 month gap, even though we came back with completely different contextual reasons needed, we all knew that Jay was in the midst of trying to find Alex, and he had just received a clue that pointed more toward complicated road trip (which did happen, apparently, since Jay found Alex and the bulk of season 2 has been what he does with that new info). #49 is not enough for me to stay glued to my seat.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed by the confirmation of a 3rd season as I am just yearning for a conclusion; but I respect the decision.

 		It's kind of funny that the post shows that he's been trying to find that missing person for over 2 weeks. Like damn, he's pretty determined.
