I actually hope there is some filler. Not too much though. It creates suspense and adds to the realism. If it's just eventful stuff after eventful stuff, it would feel like they're just delivering answers.

In my opinion it's not filler if it serves any sort of storytelling purpose. I can't think of any instances in MH that I would actually consider filler off the top of my head.

EDIT: Pravado, I'm pretty sure "in an hour" means that's when the uploading will be complete. The activity date hasn't always updated when he begins uploading.

YouTube doesn't update user data that fast. The same thing goes for video views.
