if i was jay i sure as hell wouldn't go alone. he now knows that touching the operator erases months from your memory, and the last time he was there the operator tried grabbing him. go figure.

it makes you think, why was jay able to run away from the operator when brian/tim wasn't

Keep in mind that what we as viewers see to be true, Jay may not have figured out yet. In his situation, he wouldn't so easily come to the conclusion that certain people aren't interested in him. At this point, it's simply: TALL GUY - FUCKING SCARY-BAD; ALEX - FUCKING PSYCHO-BAD; TIM - FUCKING PSYCHO-I-DON'T-FUCKING-KNOW.

Maybe Brian and Tim were more fighters than runners, and tried to take him on, or maybe they suck at running and hiding worse than Jay(as if)

i actually disagree with this, because jay watches the tapes too, if we can come up with those conclusions then so can he. he saw himself on video running away from the operator, who was moving towards him, and he also saw the timestamped video of the night before his memory loss. he would have to conclude that slendy can cause memory by coming in contact

Well, I guess the whole premise of this series, which is another thing I really like from them, is that we don't really know this guys. Whe don't really know the main character! We've called him herp derp because of back to da hause and all, but we almost never know what he's really thinking about the other people involved. Yes, he shares his conclutions with the white text in the Entries, but that's all.

Jay was in there in Entry #40. That's when he saw the Operator and ran away.

Jay was in there in Entry #40. That's when he saw the Operator and ran away.

Entry #40 was during the seven month period. Entry #31 was more recent and took place after Jay got his memory wiped.

Maybe Jay is somehow beginning to get attracted to Rosswood Park the same way that Alex possibly was (I think it was Entry #49 when Alex was saying something like "Don't follow me... Don't follow me...").
