I think it's part of that one ARG where the forum gets spammed by some advertising bot that tries to get you to check out its online store that totally isn't going to steal your identity or anything.

well now that i think about it, the operator never directly came after jay did he (outside of 52)

like he never went into jays house while he was sleeping or any of that to the extent that he did with alex. he totally could have, cause 52 confirms that the operator can teleport into a building

the only time he even encounters jay is when jay is led to him, or when jay seeks him out. with alex, the operator approached him time after time. it's implied that he did the same thing with tim's house seen in the latest entry.

so why would he target alex and not jay? why does totheark "need" jay? these are questions i want the answers to already

The next TTA will be a video of Hoody sitting behind jay eating popcorn while he reviews hte tapes, but the audio with be the piano music for an old black and white movie played backwards and pitche d own and all the frames will be out of order.

well on top of that, totheark could have chosen just about anyone to help him but he picked jay

i'd like to think jay is significant because of an event that happened to him during the filming of MH, or he had knowledge of something that was erased from his mind that totheark needs

now since it's confirmed that hoody is a member of totheark (entry 42s beginning + intermission), the ark can't be the place jay met the operator in entry 40 since hoody would have found the ark already if that was the case. i doubt it's the tunnel since hoody and tim work together and tim knew where the tunnel was. that is of course, assuming it's a location.
