So, presumably, this next Entry will show us how Tim became Masky or, at the very least, what sent him down that path. It'll conclude the found footage part of the season, and from there on we'll have to look forward to:

-The confrontation between Tim and Jay about the nature of the tapes and what's really going on.

-The inevitable return of Alex.

-A bit of light hopefully shed on the nature of totheark

-What Tim/TTA knows about The Slender Man that the rest of us aren't privy to.

Damn it, I got hype all over myself.

Entry 57: The last of Tim's Tapes:


We see tim and alex hand brian a camera and a package of empty tapes. Cue the quest to find brians group of tapes that will zigzag between implying Brian is the mastermind and preserving the status quo.

Not really sure if we're gonna get that direct-Entry #56 sequel that people are expecting. Wouldn't Tim's battery have ran out by then? And who says he brought an extra tape with him?

Surely Entry #57 will mark Masky's debut into the world. I can't imagine a more appropriate time after all of the buildup.

I really want to get some solid answers in this one, and some Jay and Tim development, too. Like it has been mentioned, it would be cool to see if this is when Masky was truly born, and it would be doubly amazing if Jay confronts Tim about the tapes so that we can see if the latter truly doesn't remember. I hope so, because that would make for a much better climactic result of Jay's exposing him to "the truth." And of course, an explanation as to how he ends up in what we think is the annex and how he presumably escaped from the Operator should be made clear too.

Wait, by "tomorrow" did he mean TOMORROW or later tonight? Because Twitter says he posted that eight hours ago and I'm getting the times really mixed up.

My hopes:

- The entry is NOT a #56 sequel and is maybe a sequel to Entry #12 instead, showing the origin of how Alex became Slendy's "pick".
- Still, all the stuff on Tim's tapes is enough for Jay to consult Tim about it and bring him into the mess. And Tim truly doesn't remember being Masky so he isn't able to tell Jay about all that stuff yet, but he will tell Jay about his history with the illness that predates being Masky, his personal connection to the burned-out hospital, etc. If Tim WERE able tell Jay about the Masky stuff, wouldn't he also be able to tell Jay who Hoody and/or TTA is? Having Tim say "Jay, the person who wears the other mask is _____" would be sort-of a boring reveal.
- We will get a few more tapes throughout the season from 2006 (and a couple Season 2-related ones to tie up loose ends there). These additional 2006 tapes will be shot by whoever ends up being the main totheark person, with one of the tapes being the sequel to Entry #56 (the person "rescuing" Tim from the hospital/Masky's origin). Again, Tim probably didn't bring an extra tape or camera battery with him so someone else has to shoot it.

And there's at least 5 entries he really likes.

I can't help but get the feeling that the one Entry that Troy's referring to is going to be the one where Jay talks to Tim about everything. I imagine them coming up with a hilariously awesome way for Jay to confront Tim and extract the information from him.

But yeah, I get the feeling that tonight's entry is gonna big regardless of what happens.
