 		Perhaps because Jay =/= Troy? They're basically the same person, yes, but there's still a clear IC/OOC divide between the two.

However, it's not a stupid an idea. They can both be sick, it's not that much of a stretch.

 		Unless troy is in a coma or kidnapped, he has the ability to tweet. (in before people exaggerate and say "if someone is really sick they might not have the strength to tweet! - yeah, no). He probably only tweeted that because he saw people were wondering why he didn't say anything about the trip.

Jay being sick is obviously operator enduced, he wouldn't have posted anything about being sick otherwise because it wouldn't be relevant to plot. If troy was sick, nothing would have been said.

Yeah, I mean Jay's tweeted about having youtube problems before because it was Troy having the problems. Like you said, not a stretch.

EDIT: As I was refreshing this thread and this thread alone, a little voice in my head told me "Hey idiot, you're probably missing the new entry". Sure enough.

If one is sufficiently sick enough, they can just not GIVE a shit. I can attest.

Anyway, 58 is up so it's a moo point. Although there's nothing in the episode that I feel would make Jay sick....

Glad Jay is at least considering talking to somebody about his problem, that's the first step to recovery. Or...well, no I guess that still works.

I think that's in response to over half of us bitching at the marble hornets twitter for Jay to man the fuck up and come clean with Tim. Razz I know I've been trolling him about it.
