They should just have Jay "solve" it for fuck's sake and give us the entry. What the fuck are they thinking dragging this entry gap on even longer? It's already been the largest time period between Entries (not counting season breaks) in the entire run of MH.

You're blunt, but you have you a point. I'm just desperate for answers, now...

Our reward for solving the riddle is most likely going to be an entry of Jay and Tim meeting up talking about the code for 3 minutes, then seeing a shadowy figure outside a window, end entry.

Oh, please, don't be ominous! D:
Corrected: But, yes, that is what it feels like.

Yeah, that sucks. I tell you what, though, I like this a lot better than the previous couple of breaks, when they were like, "...and we're off to do this thing RIGHT NOW" and then we got nothing for weeks. At least they didn't make immediate plans at the end of the last entry. We don't have to sit around wondering if they died in Rosswood or something.

And at least they've got this twitter thing going on right now. Bright side, my friends! Bright side.

I do hope that this riddle isn't the kind of thing where we have to solve it to get the next entry, quid pro quo style. But if the next entry remains a trip to the hospital as planned, Jay has not tweeted any plans to make that trip, so we're days away either way, it seems.

It's hard to get more immediate than, "let me go see if I still have a job." followed by "call me whenever you're done, and we'll head over there."

Neutral

Pretty much, well enough. ("That is what it feels like" would be correct.)

Do you guys really think that they're waiting for this riddle to be solved before uploading the next entry?

If they didn't upload it yet, it's because they haven't finished shooting/editing it, I don't think they would be waiting for a code to be deciphered before uploading the actual thing.

Also, I'd like to think that Jay won't tweet "Going to the hospital tomorrow" or something like that, just to avoid consequences.

I don't know, pal; Tim didn't really agree to that, other than to say "okay..." under his breath. And before those lines, Jay was trying to go immediately, and Tim put him off, to which Jay said, "Okay, go do that. I'll be around," which sounds like he didn't expect to be going anywhere for a while. Anyway, I thought whole thing sounded like Tim wouldn't be ready for a while, no matter how much Jay pestered him. But even if that's wrong, it's still really different than Jay tweeting pictures of the road on the way to Rosswood, talking about how Tim's been taken and he's going to rescue him. I guess if you want to take the end of 65 as a real plan for immediate action, then I'm not going to hold it against you or anything, but I'm just saying, it wasn't a "right now" kind of thing, and that's better than what we've been getting lately. Just trying to raise the collective morale around here. It could be worse.

Couldn't disagree more. It definitely sounded like an immediate thing to me. Tim was gonna go check his work and then they were gonna go to the hospital shortly after. Maybe not the same day but at least that week. It's been what, a month and a half since the last entry?

I don't know. Tim sounded like he wasn't expecting to still have a job. Maybe he planned on going soon if he was fired, but he had other plans for if he was still employed? We still don't know why Tim has been working so much.
I can't disagree though; it does sound like they were planning to go fairly soon. Plans change though (crap!).

Huh. Well, I guess I just don't think the two are the same. I agree that it sounded like they (at least Jay) wanted to head off within a few days, but Jay's addressed that on Twitter by saying that Tim did have a job to come back to and so he decided to work as much as possible to save some money in case he needs to quit over this stuff. In the other circumstance, like the Tweetpocalypse 2012 night, everything was happening in real time, supposedly, and so it wasn't really even open to a subsequent tweet that might have said plans had been changed or postponed. I prefer the 65 model, where it's at least open ended enough that they can work up some kind of IG story to cover the OOG delays. This time it was even flexible enough that Jay can sit around parsing the TTA video codes with us; he's not AWOL with his memory wiped again, because they didn't write him into a corner by having him leave for danger immediately.

To put it another way, you almost always want to have your protagonist end an episode with some kind of plan or goal for what to do next, to keep up the tension and drive the plot forward. The mistake MH has made in the past was to make that goal time-sensitive, which means that OOG delays damage the plot in a real-time series. This is not that, since they can visit the hospital at any time and made no definite plans to do so.

I'm with you all on the frustration and impatience, but I'm just trying to look on the bright side here.

This isn't the rage thread, so I feel completely fine in telling you to stuff it. A month ago was the beginning of not only the holiday season, but also the start of Tim and Joseph's final exams. Troy may be done with school, but Tim and Joseph are not. Shit happens. Get the fuck over it or take it to the rage thread. :V

Holidays or not, if this entry followed the normal development cycle then there has been AMPLE time to film and release an entry.

You don't follow any of their twitters or facebooks do you? Joseph last tweeted about being in florida. Probably back by now, but no. they did not have "ample time." Joseph is in the university's marching band. The marching band travels with the football team, guess where his university's football team was in the last couple weeks? They play even during the break. College football isn't like highschool football.
