And those of us in the United States are conveniently located adjacent to Alabama!

What I don't get is, why don't they shoot the new entry while it's raining? I can't recall a time where it was raining during an entry (besides the storm at the beginning of Entry #61 and some TTA videos), and I think it'd add a lot more eeriness and creepiness to the hospital if it were pouring during their venture. I mean, it'd be different, at least.

I get that the conditions might be harmful to their equipment, as well as themselves, maybe, but if they can find a way, I say they should make Entry #66 a rainy entry; it would sure add a little something different besides just day and night.

Either way, I'm hoping that the next entry doesn't take another week... Even though that seems to be the case.

Why would anybody ever want to do unpaid work in the rain?

Let me tell you what, dude. If they contacted me and asked me to be in Marble Hornets, only, sorry, man, you'll have to be acting in the rain, and also we're not gonna pay you, I would do it IN AN INSTANT.

Sometimes, you just gotta take the hit for something you love.

It's about continuity, I would imagine they just need to shoot a few things to wrap it up, but it won't work if the rest of the entry was sunny and suddenly it's raining.

As opposed to that entry where Tim was somewhere sunny then suddenly underwater?

Seriously though, stranger things have happened in the world of Marble Hornets.

Let me spell this out for you:

It is mother fucking cold. I'm talking below mother fucking freezing. What you are asking for can cause SEVERE harm to their persons.

That was intended. Who knows what they have to shoot, in the wrong spot it would just look awful and out of place, not in a good way, either. Fingers crossed that the weather clears up for them, though.

It was just an idea. No need to patronize, let alone be all pissy.
You also seemed to miss the part where I said "I get that the conditions might be harmful to their equipment, as well as themselves, maybe". It's okay, just read it again.

That's true. For some reason I had the mental thought that the entries were filmed in a day. A lot of the newer stuff is one take, so I just assumed. Sorry 'bout that. Razz

Like Tim's clothes suddenly drying? Razz

Obviously you don't get that the conditions might be harmful, else you wouldn't have suggested it.

It's not that it "might be harmful", it IS harmful.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Nope, still "might be". And last I checked, anything can be suggested. It's not like I'm literally ordering Trosephim to make Entry #66 in the rain, I was making a suggestion, and I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with that.

By the way, you're in the wrong thread; The Rage Thread is a few topics down.

ModEdit (Zarggg): Added spoiler for OOG content.

Does the word "frostbite" mean anything to you? Because that's what you get if you stay out in those conditions for longer than a few minutes. Btw, in case you didn't know, it can take several HOURS to film just one scene and that's when it's done by professionals.

Wow, and I was going to shoot at about 3° Fahrenheit in my little Russian ARM. Maybe I should change my mind... No, not really.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm not taking anything away from Troy and Tim, but they'll be there, like, in clothes.

Eh. I'm not so irritated that they slipped the release date because of weather, but I'm a bit disappointed that they're unable to find a better way to get around it than to just delay and stonewall. Heck, they could even do the obvious thing and tell the truth. Say, Jay could tweet "It's stormy this weekend - we may have to wait until next week" – it's not like it's always sunny in the MHverse, after all, and that's a perfectly good reason to want to stay away from an abandoned building with a probably-leaky roof...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Well, you can bite me, but I actually emailed Troy about this. I was extremely courteous (does this word still exist?) and mentioned that I admire their unpaid work, but it doesn't hurt to have a fresh point of view, you know. Maybe Trosephim simply never thought about these things.

I'm all for it.
